Prayer Request

Long story short, my 22 year old grandson has a 9 month old baby whose under-aged mother currently has custody.  The mother and baby live in a very unacceptable situation; several times the mother has called the father to come get the baby out of the undesirable situation and then later requested the baby back.  It finally got so bad the mother ran away and called to tell the father to go get the baby or the woman they have been living with was going to file abandonment and request custody.  We went to get the baby, but was told there was an abandonment hearing and we would have to go through the court to get the baby. 

• There was not hearing
• The mother was found and returned
• The woman has badgered and brainwashed the mother into filing a counter suit against grandson (all lies) and we are now in an nasty court case.
• Have not seen the baby for over a month
• Next hearing is 7/6/2009

Please be praying for the truth to shine through and for better living conditions for both the mother and baby.  We truly believe the best thing for baby is for the father to have custody as the mother has stated many times she is overwhelmed and wants out of being a mother.  The baby is my grandson's whole life.

Hi Vee - I will pray for your great grandson, that he remains safe and protected. And will pray for the whole situation, for the truth to be known and for things to work in the favor of your little one and for your grandson.

I pray too for the mother to come to her senses and for the Lord to work in her life. 

Lord Jesus, I don't know this family, but you do. Lord will you hear this grandmother's prayers and grant her requests.  Lord, will you be with all the parties involved and will you cause them all to put their own interest aside and for all to want what's best for this little one.  thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. In Jesus name I pray and ask these things.  Amen.

Thank you for your prayers.  We have had a few truths come out this week and we found a way to get our statements into our file in time for the judge to review before court on Monday.  I believe that once the judge sees proof of the lies told in the mother's statement things will be easier for us.   However, prayers and God are the only way for this to come out right.
