Pre New Year's Resolutions

For the next week, I am not going to open any threads with the following in the title:

• help me - with what?  the request needs to be part of the title
  
• recovering - you have professional advice, please use it, it's far more pertinent to your situation than what you get online
  
• relapsed - you already know what to do
  
• how do i - you can look this up, it's called google or read other posts already made and commented on by other users
  
• pleeaaaase - or any other cutesy variant

aw, why the hatin' on cutesy?

For the next week, I am not going to um, drink any alcohol.  Or smoke any cigarettes.  Or eat any chocolate.

Me, too!!!!!!

Especially since I don't drink or smoke anyway-- and rarely get chocolate, lol!!!

Wish losing weight was that easy!!!

I will try to abstain from opening any long dead thread frankensteined to the front of the lounge (except the coveted iggy drama thread)

all threads in the lounge started by arrogant immature waifs that use fat in their title.

I'm still working on my resolution a few years back to not make any more year end resolutions.

I think we had one or two of newbies who were perusing the old threads and didn't realize that he/she had been resurecting threads that were so old.

 I agree. I would love to look at your thesis when its finished, if you find some way to post it.

 What is up with all of these old threads being brought back?? I have noticed it in every forum and its different people. It is really annoying when you respond to a poster and then realize that the thread is two years old and most of the posters are probably gone.........let the old threads die people!

Some old threads are just too good to let go of.
