Pregnancy. Crazy. Happy. Need Pregnant Friends. :P

Quote  |  Reply

I have been with calorie count for awhile now. I was trying to lose weight and was very successful. (56 pounds in all...I still had 20 pounds to go....) but somewhere in the middle of it...I got pregnant. lol...I guess I must have looked better to the hubby (j/k) So now I am just trying not to gain a bunch of weight. I want to stay in between 25-30 pounds. With my first child I gained over 60 pounds and was never really able to get it off. (I guess I didn't really try all that hard...until I found cc...it changed my life)

Anyways...being pregnant now...I am having a hard time not eating everything in sight...I am very grumpy...tired...and hateful...I was really hoping that this would change by the time I hit the second trimester...but so far it hasn't. ( I am 17 weeks and counting...) I am excited the 13th of August I will be having a sono done...I hope they can tell me what I am having! :)

I want to make friends on here...with other pregnant moms. So I won't feel so crazy about my emotions because I will know I am not the only one out there that can laugh uncontrollably, cry at the drop of a dime, want to sleep and sleep and sleep. lol

I also I want to be supportive for someone else...and have the support there for me.

So if you are interested...add me :) send me a message...

Melissa

Hi Melissa,

I added you! :)  I'm pregnant with #2, and I'm due sometime next month (my doctor is talking about inducing, but he won't give me a solid date).

I'm grumpy and tired, too.  LOL!  I guess it's because I'm so close to my due date, but I'm constantly worn out.  I can't wait until I can sleep again, and I know that's still several months away. :(

Hey Melissa -  I just started on here after my doc suggested I had grown a little too pleasantly plump. I'm 172lbs and only 5'2" so I've gained 40 lbs and I'm not due until the end of September. I'm really having a hard time motivating to work out and when I let lose yesterday (it was my birthday) and counted what I ate - I totally see why I've gained so much and should probably be thankful that I haven't gained more! I'm back on track today with healthy foods. What is your official due date?

Hey there... I added you too! I'm still in my first trimester though... and I have to say, I've been giving into all the bad cravings even though I told myself I wouldn't. I haven't worked out in a week because I pulled a muscle and am letting it heal. I really need to get back on the healthy wagon.  Giving in once in a while is okay, but every day, SHEEEEESH!

I'm exhausted... almost 8 weeks along. I can fall asleep no problem but staying that way is another discussion altogether! I got up to use the bathroom twice last night too. I feel like I'm already showing in my belly too. This is #3 for me so it's not all that unjustified!

Anyhow... I'm rambling, it's cause I'm so tired!!!!!!

Hi Melissa!  Welcome!!!  I'm in my last trimester-  I'll be 41 weeks on Sunday (wish she would come out already!) -  there is so much support here-  I'm glad you are here!!  Feel free to em me anytime!!!  I'm adding you to my freinds list too!

And I can never sleep and find I am always on cc!!

January 2nd...but I am having a c-section on the 26th of Decemeber.

Hey, I'm a long time member of C-C and have used it to keep my weight in track. Now, I pop in here and there to get/give support during my pregnancy. I am 28 weeks 3 days and counting. Pretty soon, I will be back to losing the weight on here again. Smile

How do you know you're having a c-section early already?

They try and plan it at least one week in advance that way you don't go into labor.

I thought about trying to have a vback...but it is very dangerous and they don't do it at my hospital.  So I am taking the safer route!  :

Why would you be against natural labor? Did you have problems with your first?

Yes I had to have a c-section before. My B/P was very high and tegan's heart was decelling so they had me have a c-section.

Just for the record I am totally not against having natural birth. I just don't have a very good track record with pregnancy...so I don't want to take any risks.

I had a tubule last June and they had to take one of my tubes. So this in away is our miracle baby. I don't want for my uterus to open while I am in labor and put the baby and myself at risk. And yes it is very risky. They won't do it in most hospitals (a V-Back) I would have to go to Wichita...which totally isn't worth it. I do home health care and their hospitals don't have the greatest track record.

Hi melissa and other moms, (moms to be)

i am in my second month and am giving in to cravings that i didn't with my first. My thing is ice cream, i am still exercising every day for an hour or so.

i am glad to hear that others are tired and emotional too, i am so irritable, i have a two year old boy that never, and i mean never, stops talking.....good thing he's cute-ha ha

anyway good luck to you all:)

Hi Melissa, I'm a newbie mom! (not a newbie to CC though). I'm about 5 weeks pregnant -- I think --- and my EDD is 4/19/09.  I dont have much symptoms yet except for the sore boobies.  but I'm really really really trying to stay fit and eat healthy so I dont gain any excessive weight.  I hope that we can both do it, and I would  love to meet new first time mommies or soon-to-be mommies so that we can go through this "healthy" pregnancy journey together.
