What were YOUR pregnancy symptoms?
1. Falling asleep by 7pm each night (when I'm usually full of energy.) and every chance I get to sit down I feel like I'm gonna fall asleep like a baby.
2. Swollen feet.
3. Leg cramps.
4. Hot flashes! (I'm way too young for menopause.)
5. Nausea.
6. Slight random headaches.
7. BLOATING. Yesterday I was barely able to button up a pair pants. And these were pants that were actually loose on me over a week ago!

I had no symptoms at all. In fact, I had no clue for nearly 2 months. You should take a pregnancy test to be sure.
First, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I used to sleep through the night without waking up at all, but it became a sudden urgency to HAVE to go!
Second, I was nauseated unless I ate something. So, I ate...and gained weight, but thats another story.
I also got headaches very frequently during my pregnancy, so much that I began taking tylenol for the brain pain. Before I was pregnant, I never took anything for my headaches....because they were far and few between. During my pregnancy, I would have gone crazy if I didn't take something (dr. said tylenol is ok/asprin is not)
I was pretty tired too, I would go to bed early 10-11pm and take a nap mid-day.
You might be pregnant, take a test :)
I woke up one morning and just knew. But; here's what helped along the way:
1- Tired. SO SO SO tired that I couldn't stay awake on the train coming home.
2- GASSY like never before. Yes- so attractive!
3- My boobs hurt like hell - like never ever before
4- Intuition. I woke up one morning and just knew. I went to Duane Reade in my pajamas (didn't even pee yet) and bought six tests. Took them ALL at the same time and was positive each time.
Boobs hurt like hell, went to the bathroom a lot more, wedding ring wouldn't fit anymore, and food I was in the middle of eating and enjoying immensely would suddenly seem grotesque.
But I didn't get that until about the 5th or 6th week.
Don't rely on symptoms, though - take a test to be sure.
Yesterday while I was reading at Barnes and Noble I started to get these repeating cramps in my abdomen. It may have been implantation cramping.
I had gut wrenching stabbing pain that the emerg docs thought was appendicitis. The pains were there for around 2 weeks getting steadly worse. They did a dip test showed negative took blood gave me a shot of codiene in my butt then said we'll wait for blood work. Came back 2 hours later and told me I was pregnant. They then checked me for an etopic pregnancy which wasnt the case.
I never had any real symptoms early on with 2nd but tested 3 days after missed period. With third had some cramping, breast tenderness feeling tired. Did a home test and came back positive. My cycle was really weird then and from last period was already 8 weeks along
I'm probably no help. I was never able to tell before I missed a period. Even if I suspected, I would be too scared to get my hopes up.
The first time - I was 1 day late. I spent that whole day expecting to start. I felt crampy. My boobs always hurt before my period. I took an Aleve because I was sure that my period was coming. It didn't show. I bought a test on the way home from work.
#2 - I was late. That time I'd given up on ever getting pg again after many, many months of ttc. I'd stopped tracking my cycles. Then one day I noticed that my boobs had been sore for about a week. I looked up my last chart and counted the months forward. I was six days late.
Good luck!
I'm a grandmother of 14 and mother of 6. It is often different from one mom to the next and from one pregnancy to the next with the same mom. My first pregnancy I was almost 5 months before I knew it. (Long story). With other babies my breast HURT but not w/ all. With some my first inkling was thurst - I was drinking water all the time and I don't like water!! The tired thing never hit me early, but w/ a couple of my babies I had a BAD taste in my mouth and had to have peppermint in my mouth at all times, and with two constipation before I even knew I was pregnant.
Get a pregnancy test to know for sure and monitor your head aches - they can sometimes be a symptom of pending miscarriage.
Best of Luck,
Gramma Patsu
I was late by only 2 days during my first pregancy (not enough to be "late") and had to do an exercise at the gym on my stomach. My breasts were so sore I couldn't do the exercise. Stopped by the store on the way home and bought a pregancy test. Positive.
The second time I was pregant I had no symptoms except for being late. And I kept saying to myself and my family "I'm not pregant. I've been pregant and know what it feels like. I'm not pregant". Surprise.
I was so sick! I was throwing up everyday all day for a week and a half before I figured it out.... then was sick my whole pregnancy.. when I delivered i was almost 20 lbs lighter then when i first was pregnant...
