Hi all. I'm fairly new here. I'm at a relatively healthy weight now, but as I am about 2 months pregnant, my main focus is to maintain a healthy weight gain throughout the pregnancy. With my first, I gained 53 pounds (and had a 2 1/2 pound baby!) I'd like to do a little better this time. I'm counting calories mostly because it feels like I'm constantly eating, though I'm finding my caloric intake is still about the same, just lots of small meals instead of a few bigger ones.
A couple of questions along these lines - does anyone know if there is any pregnancy related information at this site, or have a link for something useful, in the realm of weight gain/caloric intake during pregnancy?
Another question - we went out for my daughter's birthday tonight and had Chinese food. I came home and it promptly came back up (ah, the joys of "morning" sickness.) Do I still try to count calories for this? I'm sure I absorbed some. Sorry for the gross question, but I'm not sure what one would do in this situation.
Thanks for any answers/insight!

Hi there! I'm not pregnant, and never have been, so I wish I could answer your questions. But I do know about a few threads that you may find very helpful. If you post your questions in one of them I am sure someone will answer. There are a few pregnant ladies on the site. Hope this helps.:) And congrats to you!
