Can I really be pregnant?

I have posted on here about my struggles with infertility before.  My husband and I tried for three years to get pregnant.  We spent  a lot of money last year on all kinds of fertility treatments.  So, I decided I wanted a break.  I signed up to run a half marathon and started training.  My period didn't come Saturday and at first I thought nothing of it.  My period is always late because of my PCOS.  While I was getting ready for my run yesterday, I decided to pee on a stick just to confirm that I wasn't pregnant.  I put my shoes on and walked back over to the counter.  I started screaming when I saw the +++!!!  I can't believe it.  I did another to make sure, it said + again.  I saw my doctor today and I am awaiting the blood results.  I think I must be dreaming!  Wish me luck!

Wow, wow, wow!  Your own darling baby!  Your dream is now reality and you have so much to be excited about!

My own little miracle dream come true is now 11yo and I still go into his room to hear him breathing and kiss his warm little cheek. I still can hardly believe that he's really here.  You have so much to look forward to!

ps< I compulsively peed on those paper sticks like every hour because I just couldn't believe it and was so excited, lol... it was a long wait for the dr. appoint.

Am really happy for you, i also have PCOS, have been trying for 2 years now :-( but no joy. If you were training for a marathon it may of helped that you were so fit and healthy and obv didn't obsess about it. Just out of curiousness what fertility tratments were you trying? Have you tried Clomid?

My parents tried for a year to conceive me. They finally gave up and were pregnant a month later. Isn't it funny how things work out?

Got the blood test results back and it confirmed that I am pregnant.  I have an appointment with the OB/GYN tomorrow.  It helps that I work with the docs. 

Sassyblue, I tried clomid and it didn't work, so then I did a combination of clomid, menopur injections and hcg injections.  While I wasn't on the drugs when I got pregnant, I think they had helped to get my body moving.  I wasn't ovulating on my own prior to that.  Good luck to you!

Congratulations. Since my sister had my nephew I've been so into the whole preganancy reading a lot and found out that it isn't an easy task for everyone so hearing about your vistory is amazing. Congrats again.
