pretending to like celery
Its not bad with cottage cheese or laughing cow... but not great.
I keep eating it because it grosses out the other AA. MUAHAHA
and eggs. OH HOW SHE HATES THEM!
but i love eggs & would eat them anyway.
I can see how someone might find eggs gross, but celery? Really? What's gross about it? The crunch?
I don't know but it brings the delicious that I was looking for! heeheehee
put peanut butter or cheese whiz on it, or dip in a hummus!
Edit:
Add raisons and you get "ants on a log"
I'm waiting for hummus to go on sale! and then I'm going to dip cucumber and celery in it. And maybe carrots.
Not a fan of PB or CW though.
(I can hear the gasps now re: PB.. LOL)
Celery doesn't gross me out. But I don't really care for it, personally. It's bland, stringy, and only tastes good if it's loaded with peanut butter or chese. Meh, I'd just rather dip my spoon straight into the jar :D
i don't mind it i usually put it in meals.....soo K.
I thought celery was gross until a year ago, when I found I could tolerate it with ranch. Mostly, it often tastes like hairspray to me, and that is what turns me off, not the texture.

I find raw celery to be extremely gross when its raw. It tastes like soap or something along those lines. I love the flavor it gives to food when its cooked.

*gasps*
mmm hummus :)
that should really gross her out!
I love the taste - i hate the strings.
But I hate shrimp. That tastes like pool water to me. yuck.
I refuse!
I will not pretend to like celery!
It is vile!
It is evil!
It is an abomination!

I don't mind the taste/blandness, but the strings are annoying. Salsa is a good dip with pretty much any vegetable though.
If you have a blender you can make Hummus it;s really easy, only problem is one can or jar of chick peas makes enough hummus to feed a small nation! It's really good with celery, peppers, carrots the list just keeps on growing :o)
bleargh,it's putrid. that and corriander.
Horses for course me dear you see I can think of nothing worse than a big fat juicy steak, or a chicken breast, yuk yuk yuk
But crudite and hummus, guacamole or tomate salsa ....mmmm heaven
