Probably a stupid question-but thought I'd ask anyways.

I have been noticing lately that certain parts of my body are starting to itch like crazy. I haven't changed my lotion or soap. Basically, it's the skin on my ribs, sternum and my breasts.  Any clue why this might be?

PS. Nope- haven't gained any weight. I've been maintaining.

Could be seasonal.  The air tends to be dryer when it's cold, and that can affect your skin's hydration.

What about new foods, detergents or fabric softeners?  New clothes that might be made from new materials?  New sheets?  Andy different medications?  Though, if it was some sort of allergen or irritation like this, I'd expect redness and maybe a little swelling.

I have been experiencing this too. I thought it was from using a different lotion, but I've stopped with no improvement. I think corellia may be right about the weather. It's gotten a lot chillier where I am.

that happens to me sometimes too... i just scratch it, and when i'm in the shower scrub the spots hard with a facecloth, and after a while it goes away. try moisturizing too?

are you taking any new medications? could be a reaction to tht...

No new meds, no new anything.  And it only itches in those places, right where the bones are. (Except for the breasts of course. That is right around the edges.) Could be the seasonal air. It's getting a little bit cooler here.
