I have a problem
OK. I have always wanted slimmer thighs, as basically all women and girls I know want them too. So I think it's natural to want slimmer thighs right.
But only recently I have been swayed to think that extremly thin thighs are ideal, as in model/ pin thin thighs. BTW I don't mean models in general I mean the emaciated ones. ![]()
I've realized that what I want is unnatural and just not right for me. I'm 5"6 with a naturally small waist, if I were to have the teeny tiny thighs that I so badly want, I would look wonky, and abnormal.
So I am trying to stop this obsession, by looking at people with a more naturally thin look, like Jennifer Aniston and VS models, rather than too skinny models.
I'm kinda happy I picked up on this and realised it wasn't right before I starved myself crazy again.
I don't really want advice but just wanted to vent really ![]()
but please don't criticize me I know I stuffed up a wee bit, but I'm trying to correct myself
The biggest problem with the too-thin thighs is that not only are they not attractive, but they are also not functional.
A nice thigh must have some meat on it and be strong. I doubt that the stick-thin models could do any real amount of weight doing leg presses or leg curls.

I often feel that way too. I have "gymnast" thighs (I did use to be a semi-gymnast), and I have always thought of my thighs as to muscular. However, my boyfriend really likes my "thick" thighs, so I asked my guy friends what their opinions were on celebrity's thighs. Almost unanimously, they chose the thicker thighs (think Demi Moore in stripetease or JLo) and thought Posh's & Angelina's recent legs were gross.
I began to realize that guys' tastes are much different than women's, not that we should strive to please guys, but we shouldn't be so concerned with what other women think either. Guys typically say women are much harder on each other than men are.
