Thanks for asking for clarification because I was wondering the same thing. I think I should be eating about 100-200 more calories per day and don't want my body to go into hibernation!

Thanks for explaining the update, as with all changes it takes time to get used to and I know there is a bit of an uproar at the beginning.
One UI design feature that I'm missing is the visual of how much I'm eating. I'm a visual person, so seeing that I've ate approximately 50% of my personal calorie goals in an image (vs in numbers) was a plus for me. The new system makes it much more numbers-based. I also liked having the visual of water drank each day, now it's an extra click to log water and no visual that stays on the screen.
Overall, I really appreciate the site and visual representations on the analysis page in particular. I'm happy to see you're continuously improving and thanks for allowing us to give feedback!

I have read several times that women shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories per day. When you get less than that your body goes into starvation mode and your body won't process nutrients naturally, instead store them. So if anything you need to be above 1200 to be healthy and I agree, you're still growing, try 1400-1500 calories a day of healty foods. Good carbs, fiber, protein, etc. Stay away from processed carbs, fats, and salt (sodium)
