| I like to sit on my bed watching a good movie and a big bowl of fruit. Ever try blending some orange juice, apple juice, one egg, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, pineapple and a tbsp of lemon juice, and some yogurt into a great smoothie. Freeze the fruits so you don't have to add ice. Great tasting, easy on your stomach and light, good, clean, healthy calories. I have like 3 a day when I'm sick to my stomach. I have cyclid vomiting syndrome so I have to mind what my stomach will and won't accept especially when I feel so sick even bread sounds terrible. Hope this helps some. Get full on fruit when you can't on everything else. Best of luck. | |||

| As long as your eating healthy and working out you'll gain muscle. Don't gain weight too fast or you will be gaining only fat. A pound a week is considered healthy weight and not packing on a gut | |||

| Lol I'm 22 and haven't begun naturally gaining weight. Dad didnt until he was 30, so I'm in the process of fighting genetics. Have to get a 3000 calorie a day diet to gain a pound A week. You don't want to gain weight too fast otherwise your going to be adding on the wrong kind of pounds via fat that's virtually impossible to burn off. 3-4 pounds a month is the healthiest way to bulk up anymore than that and your just getting fat. Try adding a couple tablespoons of peanut butter to your diet. I know I can't stop at a couple it's so good I end up eating like 12 tbsp's worth and that's like 1000 calories already. I like the natural peanut butter with honey as its not so hard to eat plain and is easy to swallow ( the honey makes it a little more liquidy but not overbearing and keeps you from choking on a mouth full a peanut butter). Another good one if not my favorite are the strawberry ensures you can get at just about any store. The ensure plus has 350 calories per container and it's a lot easier to down 3 of those for 1,050 calories than eating that many calories worth of food and they are pretty healthy. I was drinking like 7 tbsp of olive oil for the extra 800 calories a day but that much olive oil would give me terrible headaches. I know it's easy to go to McDonald's and get a thousand calories in one burger but it's empty calories that serve no good benefits besides bad saturated fats. Stick with whole foods and 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight and you'll be on your way. Think big to get big. Google how many calories you burn a day so you know how much to take in as you need to consume more calories than you burn to gain anything. Good luck, hope this helps some. Ya, I suppose your right. Its hard trying to understand their position since Ive never had to deal with someone with that serious of an ED so your right. I was assuming since she said her dad was always there until the end but her mom quit that she gave up on sammie but I suppose what you said makes sense about her giving up on herself. Just sad to think someone at that age died from a ED. Poor girl never got to experience all the greatest things in life and my heart goes out to her and her family too. May she be happy and healthy with the lord at her side |

Ok, ill try that, thanks a bunch. Ya the olive oil wasnt the way to go. Noticed yesterday that everytime I do drink like 7 tbsps at once, I get a headache and puke every 10 minutes. Just going to replace it with more peanut butter everyday. Thanks for the suggestions. Going to go to the store today |

| Just reading all her old posts makeshift want to cry and nothing makes me cry. Especially the forum topic with the title that says: "I'm giving up" and saying that she thinks shes going to die but wants to live a normal live and be happy. My god I'm heartbroken. Frankly pissed at the parents as she clearly states her mom tried and tried but gave up. Words can't express the empathy I feel for her. So young. :( | |||

| Do you exercise? I had to same problem with my stomach when I started eating heavy and stopped working out for a while and it just started to create the beginning of a gut. After focusing intensely on my torso workouts it started to look like it was distributing and my stomach started to flatten out again. I don't know if a women's body is much different in the sense of weight distribution or not but I hope this helps a little | |||

| Ya I end up just eating as much as I can when I feel I can. Usually just eat a lot 3 times a day do I'll try to space them out. Should I still be completely full after eating while spacing them out or just enough to help with the hunger. Much appreciated for the response. I suppose I won't take it as fast. Is it ok to literally drink a quarter of a cup of olive oil before bed or is that too much fat too quickly? Wonder if that's what caused my headache. Your right about the sodium as I've been taking in a lot now that I've actually been trying to up my calories so it makes sense about being bloated by it all. Thanks again, I'll watch what I'm eating more closely | |||
