Wow, I would've NEVER put this together. I starting working out/losing weight in mid-2006. That fall I started getting anxiety....I went to the doc and he did a full panel of tests and said I was completely healthy. Of course, they wouldn't have tested when my sugar was dropping. Thanks for the links...I've been experiencing anxiety off and on since then, so I may need to look deeper into my diet, even though I thought I was eating pretty well. Thanks again.

Doesn't sound like you're eating enough to me....you say on your long run days you eat 1800 calories, I would suspect you burn all of those calories on your run, so then you would end up with probably a 1500 calories deficit for the day. I suggest eating more and adding protein.

I've been running about 2.5 years. I suggest increasing your distance before your first walking break before increasing your speed. I'm not sure what distance you're shooting for, but I would work yourself up to running the full 30 minutes before worrying about speed.

wrm2105 -  All I can say is that I'm addicted. :) I was a smoker before I was a runner, so I guess I replaced a bad habit with a healthy one. I run 5 days a week, and honestly, I think that's the only way I stay sane. The more miles the better. I just go through shoes like crazy. I'm replacing them about every 2 months.
