1. Looking hot for my sisters wedding. I'm a bridesmaid, and I'm the youngest one so I definitely don't want to be the biggest one. 2. Fitting into some of my favourite jeans again, and this one shirt that I absolutely adore but no longer fit into. 3. Hopefully having a bit more confidence to flirt with guys! 4. Wearing a bikini to the beach! Fingers crossed... 5. Not having to worry about my stomach fat spilling over when I'm sitting down. 6. Feeling fit and beautiful and healthy! 7. Fitting in with all my skinny friends. 8. The CLOTHES I'll be able to wear!!! 9. The compliments from other people. 10. Confidence, confidence, confidence. |

I try to eat reasonably "clean" for the day. Breakfast would be a smoothie made with mlk, yogurt and fruit, or a fruit parafait with yogurt and fruit. Lunch would be one of my homemade granola bars (no yucky, overly processed ingredients in my granola bars) and some more fruit or veggies. All of my snacks would be fruit or veggies as well. And remember to drink a lot of water! For dinner I'd usually be a bit more lenient, but I try to eat a lot of vegetables as well. For dessert, just some good quality dark chocolate. |

I've lost the chemical additives an American consumes each year. But I've gained back a human head. My goal is to lose ten dozen large eggs. |

Its amazing, to say the least. I can't say I was on board with these Olympics before, but the excitement in the air is contagious! Just walking around downtown is fun, its crazy crowded, and free events and stuff everywhere. I'm checking out a free concert, with some of my favourite bands, tomorrow night. Can't wait! |

Age: 15 Weight: 120-125 (not sure how accurate our scale is) Height: 5'5" Goal Weight: 115ish? Its not about losing weight for me. Its about losing fat, since my stomach is incredibly flabby and sticks out like a sore thumb. Its also about controlling my dessert addiction. Anyone in the same kind of predicament, message me! |

Wow, thanks everybody! Your replies have been very meaningful and supporting and they've been a great help. I did try to lose weight the healthy way, but maybe it wasn't as healthy as I thought. I will work on keeping those foods out of the house. I don't know why I binge, but I plan on trying to figure that out. |

Avocado, any kind of pepper (sigh), olives, celery, raw shrimp, raisins. I don't really care about brussel sprouts, but I hate them too. |

Holy crap! Some of you people got a lot!
And I also did a mini present exchange with some friends, and from them, I got a book, 20$ gift card to Chapters, grey leggings, lip gloss, Godiva chocolate, a necklace, stuff from the Body Shop, and a burned CD. I'm very thankful. I love everything I got, and I can only hope everyone loved what I got them too! |

How does not having a profile picture make someones post not worthy to read? I don't understand that. I've been on this site for almost a year, and no, I don't have a profile picture. I just can't be bothered to upload one. Its not like I'm all that active on this site anyways. I use it as a reference guide, as a place to ask questions and find the answers to questions. That doesn't mean my posts aren't any less worth reading. |

Well, I did a quick search, and I found these two recipes http://www.elanaspantry.com/chocolate-orange- truffles/
Pioneer woman does have a recipe that uses sweetened condensed milk instead of heavy cream, but I'm guessing thats even worse then the cream. Still, here http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2009/10/ch ocolate-truffles-with-sea-salt/ Oh, and there's these diabetic friendly ones http://www.grouprecipes.com/104668/almond-coa ted-chocolate-truffles-diabetic.html I've never tried any of them. I cant say I'm an expert on truffles. Honestly, you might just want to bake some other diabetic friendly treat for them, and make truffles using a more traditional recipe. They're such a decadent little treat, I have a hard time imagining a healthy version. I did a google search, and there really isn't much. But good luck! |

Well, I don't have any truffle recipes, but as for the fruit flavour, perhaps you could use an extract? I've seen raspberry and orange extract before. They're pretty strong. You could always add that to the mixture. I dont think there's many other ways of making a truffle, but who knows, someone may have a recipe. |

I don't need a weight loss buddy, but I need a self control/maintenance buddy. If you have troubles with too much dessert/ junk food, contact me. Maybe we can help each other out with having healthier lifestyles. |

I have certain, erm, portion problems with plenty of desserts. But weirdly enough, its the chocolate covered graham crackers that truly get me. Particularly the homemade ones I make. Its a combination of melted chocolate and peanut butter poured over graham crackers, with a white chocolate swirl. I can't make these very often....it's not pretty. Chocolate filled wafer sticks are pretty bad too. |

Hmm. So the liquid tends to evaporate? Would I be better of drinking a glass of milk on the side to get all the nutrients, or will the milk just be absorbed by the oats? |

Nope, I got the oatmeal in bulk. So no instructions on the container. All right. I'll try a few different ways. Thanks! |
