So this is the first time I've tried this so bare with me I'm on an iPhone. So calorie wise calorie wise it sounds good. All that matters is that you burn more than you take in. I would think based on what you are describing try and keep a detailed log of the food you are eating and not just the calories... Because if those calories are mostly carbs that could be the problem. Carbs aren't bad I'm not a fan of Adkins diets but when your trying to get rid of excess fat you. You have plenty of stored energy and don't necessarily need all the carbs. I would approximate about 100gm a day... And definatley some before you workout so you have a boost in energy to get through the workout. Try looking up the glycemic index and eat foods that are low on the glycemic index. When you have frequent spikes of insulin in your blood that insulin actually traps the fat cells in and doesn't allow them out and whatever is not burned or used right away gets stored away as fat. So the key (i think) to satisfying hunger and weight loss is keeping your blood sugar levels on an even playing field. When you eat breads pasta and other carbs it all breaks down into the same thing as candy (glucose) and causes sharp rises of insulin into the blood stream and trains our bodies to think we're hungry when our blood sugar levels are low or normal because its use to having higher sugar levels... This is also how type two insulin resistance diabetes develops over years. I would also make sure you drink plenty of water and make sure you take in enough fiber. And maybe even go so far as writing down what you ate and how it makes you feel and foods you crave and when you eat those... I don't know... Best if luck to you and hang in there!
