| ...the other exceptions are if you're homicidal or suicidal, and that's only in the immediate time, to ensure your safety. After that, everything is CONFIDENTIAL. You could be hospitalized Psychiatrically and it would be TOTALLY confidential, could not affect your career no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go see a medical doctor, a therapist, and whoever they happen to recommend. I can very, very nearly promise 100% that you'll feel and be better, without academic or professional consequences. | |||

Hollie:
"Professional help" for eating disorders (OR ANYtrhing else!) is confidential!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is illegal for a psychologist or psychiatrist to tell ANYBODY about your history. (The only exception is if they are subpoenaed, which is freakishly rare- REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sure as heck doesn't happen in your academic or professional records!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely, A Mental Health Therapist |

Hey, Kiddo:
Going to the doc can be an embarrassing, freaky thing for some of us. If you're uncomfortable or embarrassed asking your folks to take you, that's OK...I think that you're legally old enough to go on your own (I believe this is the case at 14 years old). However, you will probably find that it's something common, and not a big deal. If you're one of those young women who's extremely uncomfortable (there are a few of them, and that's fine, too, either way...)you could even tell your folks that there's something you're uncomfortable with, and no doubt one or both of them would take you. That would be an excellent way to go. "Mom, I want to go the the doctor and I don't want to talk about why..." All the Best, Amileena |

Because it is normal. It's a part of being feminine, even when you are slender and in the most perfect condition ever. That's why men like you, and why you like men :-) |

Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
