Bio

I'm a mom with two kids and a wonderful husband.  I have a busy, high powered job that I started nearly four years ago.  Before that I always struggled with weight but managed it and have been a lifetime member of Weight Watchers.  But with this job, I stopped going to the gym, stopped running, worked way to much.  In the last year I've started to get my life back and when I returned from my annual Florida trip in January I decided that it's time to focus on me.   My goals are to:

  1. Lose 40 pounds - this would get rid of the 20 I've gained in the last few years plus the other 20 I've been hanging onto before that.  This would bring me down to my wedding weight which is a comfortable place.  However, this site says I should lose another 15 after that.  We'll see.
  2. Run Again - I'd like to start running again 2 or 3 miles a day, three or four times a week.
  3. Ride - My daughter has a horse that needs to recover from an injury. Since she has another horse now that keeps her busy, so riding two horses plus school is a lot of work. My goal is to ride a few times a week to help with getting the horse back into work.

That's it for now.  I love this site.  Eat less, move more!
