-I think by now everyone is well aware that models aren't a realistic size for the average woman to aspire to be. In my opinion designers and leaders in the fashion industry should ensure that the models are being healthy, but that doesn't mean they can't be skinny.

I love 2NE1 and Big Bang! Their music is really good to listen to while doing cardio. I also really like Brown Eyed Girls. I found Ga-In's solo to be so unique and beautiful. I think they are the most talented girl group vocally, I just wish their music showcased their talent better.

Hey Kittykat, thanks for joining us! I'm a vegetarian too! <3 yay.


OK SO, Yesterday I was really busy and only managed a 30 minutes walk in. I had THE BEST breakfast though. Oatmeal made with soy milk and with almond hazelnut butter mixed in, and a grapefruit on the side. YUM. Today I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown DVD on level 2. Also ate really healthy so I'm feeling good!

I'm not expecting much of a difference on Saturday. Since I'm trying to build muscle I still need to eat at maintenance. It's not so much the weight I care about though, more about the fat percent. Even though my weight is in the ideal range for my height, I'm still so flimsy and squishy, hahha. I don't want to jiggle when I walk around in a bikini! D;

So how was Feb 1st for you guys?

I stretched for about 10 minutes then did 20 minutes intense on the elliptical this morning, I was planning on going 30 but started getting light headed. I think I need to reevaluate my pre-workout snack. :/

Then later on before dinner I did 30 minutes of pilates. It was a video on youtube by the user "blogilates." I did their newest full body workout. I really recommend checking it out!

I ate pretty good too. I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow to stock up on some more fruits and veggies. I think I'm going to try eating a salad for lunch everyday.

So, overall my day was good. I'm feeling kind of sore, so I guess the pilates did it's job, haha.

I recently measured myself because my mom though I looked taller, and although I was 5'5" when I was 17, I am now 5'6" at 18. It's uncommon for girls to grow taller after the age of 16, but not impossible. You might be able to squeeze out an extra inch! Haha. Just make sure you are eating healthy and staying active. Height is determined by genetics, hormones, and nutrition.

I know what you mean about school getting in the way. Maybe one of the reasons there is a problem with obesity among youth is because we are forced to be sitting and studying most of the day? They need to change that ASAP. Your determination is good though! Just keep thinking about those bikinis! Hahaha.

I know! and the Victoria secrets models all have insane figures. ENVY, haha.

For the past while I have been doing mostly cardio, like going on the elliptical or walking my dogs. I also do yoga. However, since I want to build muscle I'm going to up the resistance on my elliptical, and start using free weights for strength training. My mom has some fitness DVD's that I'm going to have a look through as well. I used Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for a while last year and I noticed it toned my arms up, so I might incorporate that into my routine again. My arms are like noodles right now, ahah. I also want to get into pilates!

So yeah, as you can tell I'm still experimenting. I'll let you know when I get a solid routine going though!

I'm aiming more for getting toned than just losing weight though. Measurements are what I'm really looking at soo..

Bust: 34"
Waist: 23"
Hips: 38"
Thighs: 21"

I'm hoping to slim down my hips (fingers crossed that my bust/waist doesn't get smaller, ha!), but I mostly just care about being squishy.


Since I have lost a lot of weight since I started, feel free to ask me questions. I'm by no means an expert, but I can't tell you what I know from personal experience!

Not really. I lost about 15lbs between early April to mid July of 2010. I told my doctor about this, but he didn't think it was related.
