My name is Becky.  I live near Seattle, WA - love it - born and raised.  I am 35 years old, mom of 2 kids - Cory, 20 and Ariel, 16.  If you do the math there you'll see I was only 15 when I had my son.  Yikes, I know.  But we got through just finbe and he's a great kid.  I am an Interior Designer.  I manage the design department at IKEA Seattle.  I LOVE my job and I'm very proud that I have it.  I've been in the restaurant business since I was 16 as a server and, for a while, a manager.  When I turned 30 I went to college - an art school - and got my design degree.  I made the transition in careers and worked my butt off (well, I wish my butt actually reduced in size, but you know what I mean) and got my dream job.

So, I love my job, my kids are grown, I feel great about my life and I am ready to conquer this weight battle once and for all.
