I have learned so much today! Thank you all so so much! I think the main problem might be i eat wayyyy to much salt and i hardly drink any water (only at the gym) I was putting tons of seasoning on all my food. I looked at the label tonight and oh my gosh it was not good. If i actually added up the sodium i would probably pass out. I never paid attention to the sodium. I ate alot of lean cuisines and pretzels because i thought well they are low in calories. Ugh. I definetly won't give up now. I think i'm going to make the changes you guys mentioned and then I won't weight myself for a few weeks and see what happens. I've been weighing myself everyday and day after day of seeing no change can get to you so its probably better if I just put the scale in the closet for awhile. I eat about 6 small meals a day. Example: Breakfast: Protein Shake with 1/2 banana - 180 calories Snack: Pretzels - 100 calories Lunch: Chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato - 400 calories Snack: Protein Shake with 1/2 banana 180 calories Dinner: Grilled Salmon and shrimp - 400 calories Snack: Pretzels - 100 calories

I sit in an office all day so i'm not very active during the day. When i go to the gym i do 30-40 minutes on an elipitcal machine. Some mornings before work i do the boxing or use my gazelle. Maybe i need to increase intensity of my workouts. I feel like i give it 150% though. I just started including weights into my workout 3-4 days a week. |

I've talked to my doctor over and over and over. A few different ones actually. I have diabetes so its very important that I do this. I dont want to give up like i said its just very frustrating. To be in the gym everyday sweating and pushing and working so hard and then measuring and logging food every single day and zilch no results. I mean even if i was going down sizes in my clothes i'd be thrilled but even that hasnt changed. I mean i have come a long way and i'm proud of myself for that because i have made this a lifestyle change and thats huge but i must be doing something wrong and i'm just not sure what. |

Great Article! I know i'm not drinking enough water. Plus i eat a lot of chicken and fish but I hate it plain so i put alot of seasoning on it which is high in sodium. |

This was last weeks: Monday Burned 2340 calories ate 1534 = 806 deficit Tuesday Burned 2280 calories ate 1649 = 631 deficit Wed: Burned 1905 calories ate 1588 = 317 deficit Thursday: Burned 2419 calories ate 1272 - 1147 deficit Friday: Burned 1952 caloires ate 1455 = 497 deficit Saturday Burned 2451 ate 1328 = 1123 deficit |

I agree with elainer6 it definetly keeps you motivated to move more during the day. I am much much more active now that i have mine. I'm constantly trying to increase my steps and i also try to beat yesterdays burn. I love it! Yes you go online and enter all your information and it calculates your BMR. You then input your information and it sets up goals for you. Its great! |

I've been wearing my body bugg now for about 6 weeks and i love it! The only time i take it off is to shower. I forget I have it on now. I would be lost without it. It was the best money I have ever spent.

I'm on a diabetic so I am on a low carb diet. My nutrionalist told me the following: breakfast, lunch and dinner no more than 45g of carbs mid-morning snack 15g of carbs mid afternoon snack 15g of carbs.

I guess I don't understand. Why are you taking them? I mean why don't you just watch your calories, exercise and lose the 1-2 pounds a week? Sounds like its a lot more of a "pain in the ass" lol than doing it the old fashion way like everyone else is on here. Why pay so much money when you can do it for free? |

Mad4moon i just read your reply and boy i want to hunt that woman down so bad and tell her off lol. That is just awful. How can people be so rude! That must of been an awful flight for you :-( I haven't been to Disney World in forever. Don't stress too much over the little stuff. Your going to be with your family, having fun, laughing and making tons of memories. Have fun!!!

Thanks guys! So i'm pretty much on track i guess. A Gallon is like 120 oz i think. I never drank water before. I was lucky if I had a glass of water once a week. Once I started drinking it I saw the difference. I felt sooo much better. I have diabetes and i use to wake up multiple times a night 5-6 times because i needed a drink. Now I am sleeping much better. |

I bought a Gazelle and i love it. It was the best $99 dollars I have ever spent. You get the effect of walking or running but not the impact on your legs. Its great for the days I don't have time to drive back and forth to the gym. Plus it folds up so its not in the way. I get a great workout on it. |
