Fitness Only 110-120 bpm After Exercise??? Jun 17 2012

Thanks. That is probably why. I don't have a HRM and can't even afford $40 right now.  I'll try to count it while cycling or just log in moderate until I can get one. Gotta pay the bills ya know.

Weight Loss pound a week anyone? Jun 12 2012

I think that sounds reasonable. That's how my husband lost weight while I'm still dwelling between 138-140lbs. He didn't even exercise. Still he lost 20 pounds in 5 months. I lost 10 pounds and that stopped 2 or 3 months ago. It's so hard to sustain a diet with such low calories and really unrealistic in the end. 1 pound a week sounds a lot less stressful and easier to stick with.

Yup doctors are quick to hand out antidepressants because they get paid for it. Only moral doctors will ignore all of the temptations such as free dinners, TVs, and other gifts that companies try to win them over with. I should ask a doctor about the IV.

As for periods I'm pretty sure that you lose iron through heavy bleeding, not bleed heavily because you have an iron deficiency but I will look that up.

I have really light periods and struggle to have them every month. I haven't skipped for 6 months now so that's good. I do have a history of ovarian cyst and 2 have burst and have led to me bleeding internally and into my uterus. but I know when that happens because it's worse than child birth lol. I haven't bleed internally for 2 years that I know of. So I really don't know what the cause is.  Doctors just give me a supplement tell me to eat liver of red meat and send me on my way.  I've always had a problem finding a good doctor. They kinda all suck lol.

Vegetarian Soy. Bad or good? Dec 21 2011

Donor milk can be unhealthy for babies. It is really meant for premature babies. I would talk to your doctor about that before you do it.

Yeah, my doctor told me to stay away from soy when my ovarian cyst burst because of the estrogen. He told me to stay away from it when I was pregnant. And my child's pediatrician had a cow when I gave my baby soy formula. He said that there was a lot of controversy over something in it. I don't remember what it was called. I would have just breast fed him but I couldn't make enough milk and he had jaundice really bad.  So I would just try to breast feed him if you can.

No no no, ask to speak to the person above her and get her fired. In times like these I'm sure that there are plenty of NICE people willing to work there. Karma can be a b*tch for bad people and a saint for good people. Maybe she'll be fat soon lol.

Okay, thank you so much! That was really bothering me, I was afraid I wasn't burning enough. That clears a lot up for me.

I don't think you can weigh less. You could stop growing though.

Alright then I'll keep assume it's about 500 just to be safe. It would be pretty awesome  if I did burn over 1000 calories in an hour though. Thanks!

Weight Loss Anyone else having problems with nutrition?? May 18 2011

I've been having issues with potassium as well. It's hard to squeeze all of the high potassium foods into a low calorie diet.

This is a pretty good site to go to for nutritional info:

It is useless. It didn't work for me at all I didn't even have the side effects that show you're not absorbing the fat. Complete waste of money. Might as well just diet and exercise. Don't waste your money. If you really want a pill that works and you are overweight then ask your doctor for prescription for phentermine.  It's like 17 dollars for 30 at sam's club pharmacy if you have insurance and it works without aid of a diet. Although as many diet pills it can have side effects such as dry mouth so if you already have dry mouth I wouldn't take diet pills because you'll get  a mouth full of cavities which is even more money.

Weight Loss Fasting (How to help metabolism after) May 13 2011

Yeah, because I used to fast 6 days a week (every 3 days) for 3 years except when I was pregnant but started back 3mo postpartum(I will confess I did drink coffee) and I lost from 150ish down to 116 in 3mo and stayed that way. I had clear skin, no headaches, enough energy to go on walks with my baby, study, yoga, and go out at the end of the day with my husband. The days I didn't fast I actually craved healthier foods and less (although I did eat whatever I wanted to confuse my metabolism). Now... (when I started eating along with my growing child as he switched to solids) I am only gaining for two years now up to 146lbs aaaaaaand I formed two wrinkles on my forehead (the side I have headaches on)! I'm only 24! Two years ago everyone thought I was 12!

I want to start again, my child never eats when or what I do anyways. I just keep hearing that it RUINS your metabolism and then I hear that that is a myth and I never see cold hard facts. All I know is that I am eating more now and gaining and when I was fasting I was very thin and physically flawless and the fog that comes with eating disappeared. I could see more clearly, my vision was not blurry,  I was able to actually concentrate and soak in information. But then again I definitely don't want to RUIN my metabolism, you know.

But then how do you lose weight after the weight gain?

Will it slow your metabolism down to lose weight again?

Dr. scales are most accurate and unfortunately can be 5-10lbs more than one at home. I usually add at least 5lbs to what I usually weigh at home so I don't get too depressed if I weigh myself elsewhere. So if I weigh 143lbs I'm probably at least 148lbs. If you can afford a scale similar to your doctors get one. If you already have one or use one without batteries these can get old and not be as accurate as they used to be. I would go with the one that is 5lbs more because usually when scales get old you weigh less, not more. I have never seen a scale go from 140 to 150 but I have seen them go from 140 to 130 if you normally weigh that much. Also take shoes, heavy clothing, if you just ate or drank into account. Sometimes all of those put together can add 5lbs. Don't worry you didn't get fatter, but one of the scales are wrong obviously.

Weight Loss being called fat Apr 13 2011

That's mean. I'm 5'6 and weigh 143lbs (23lbs to go). I don't think I am fat. Maybe some extra baggage but I've seen bigger. Whoever called you that probably calls 70% or more of the population fat so they probably don't have many friends lol. What a pathetic loser they must be.
