Hey everyone,

I think I'm only going to weigh once a week, on Fridays. So I'll check in on Friday instead of Monday. Hope that's ok!

I realised that last year when I lost 10lbs, my measurements didn't decrease by much and my body was still in the same proportions as it always was, just at lower measurements. That's not what I want so I'm going to start lifting and I know that will make the weight go up before it goes down and I don't want to psych myself out when I weigh twice a week and see it go up.

I love this group. Hope this is ok!

I'm trying this again!

Hi I'm born2doit2. I'm 25 and currently 138 lbs. This time last year, I was 124 lbs ( having used CC and the previous versions of this group Laughing to lose 10lbs) but due to bad eating I gained back all the weight I lost +4. I'm 5ft 4" and would like to get down to 128 by the end of June.

More than weight, I would love it if my measurements changed. To be honest if I stayed at 138lbs and lowered my waist measurement that'd leave me completely happy. 

Lately, I've been lacking motivation but I keep attempting to regain it and as I actually have an event in July that I want to lose the weight for I hope to really stick to it this time around! I intend to weight lift and I fully understand that my weight will not go down right away due to this so I'm hoping that even if I see my weight go up, that won't be give me an excuse to quit.

So, good luck to everyone! I hope we keep each other on track and motivated!!

I think a good weight for me is ~125. That should be about a size 6 (I think). I'm 5'3" (and I might still be chubby at that weight) but I honestly don't think I can get much lower than that. I've been at this for years and am at my lowest weight now but...25 years ago everything was higher up .

Yes! Let's! That is some  motivation! Thanks @runyourlife! We can do it!! Here's to a week of good eating ( even though tomorrow is a public holiday for me) and working out!

Hey guys.. it's been a while.. a long long while. But I'm glad to see this thread is still active as I always need some ' apple' support.

I have neglected Calore Counting and have been eating without care and now weigh 138lbs. But as I've learned and eventually came to grips with- the weight on the scale does not matter. I was just looking through my old posts in this thread and I had gone down to 124 lbs and still had a 31 " waist... smh... that just doesn't seem quite right. 

So I've begun doing New Rules of Lifting for Women and I definitely feel better even after only doing it for a week (lol). I think that I need to redefine my body instead of focusing solely on the number on the scale since, as said above, that obviously is not working for me in trying to conquer the "apple-iness". So even if I stay at 138lbs ( which I hope I do not) my main aim is to lose inches. Inches Inches Inches! That's my mantra and I could use your support in sticking to it.

Hope you guys will have me back :)

Congrats @travs_girl on the 2lb loss over the weekend!

I had a good weekend, no cheating yet I've gone up 1 lb. It's a bit discouraging actually, considering looking back on previous challenges I used to eat badly on weekends and lose. 

I'm considering (just considering) weighing once a week if it's ok with you guys. I find my motivation wanes easily these days and the fluctuations kind of get me down.

I haven't been good. The motivation comes and goes and with work and stress- chocolate has been my bff :( I haven't gained but there's no loss. So here's hoping I stick to it.

Ps. I filled in friday and yesterday which I missed,  although I did weigh on those days.
