| Well, in that case, it definitely sounds like a jealousy issue. I'm sorry you have a friend like that. i know that can hurt. | |||

I wear tampons on my period....So, it's not much different to me. If I wore white bottoms, I would definitely wear something under it, but I don't. I don't wear underwear for looks. Not wearing panties or some kind of lingerie under see through fabrics is nasty. That would defeat my purpose. If I discharge, then I wash my pants. Like I said before, I wash my clothes after every time I wear it. I have never discharged to the point where it showed through my pants. If that's the case, i don't know how underwear will stop it (but maybe it does). |

Thanks, Dances. I have been drinking about a gallon of water everyday for about six months and I found that it does help alot. I cut all sodas, juices, coffee, ect. out of my diet. But, now I need to work on the slow burners. My cravings for sweets, however, are so strong.
Back on subject, I thought going pantiless was nasty for a while too. But, i got so tired of panty lines. And sometimes, the thong will squeeze my fat (which is horrible when I'm wearing a form-fitting dress). I only wear my clothes once before washing, so I don't think it's so bad. I think it would be worse if I wore my jeans days at a time without washing. |

She might have thought that you could have been digging at her...telling her that she needs to get on track and be healthier. I don't know your history with your friend, but if she doesn't attack normally, maybe SHE was getting defensive at your comments when you didn't mean anything...
It reminds me of how I take my husband comments sometimes. He means nothing by his words, but I will attack because I thought he was attacking me. - just a thought :) |

This may or may not work for you, but I tend to look at the amount of calories a serving is before I eat it. Then when i want more, I start thinking how many extra calories I am eating. This especially works when I need to save some for the rest of the day. And when I am reaching my calorie limit, I know that if I eat more, I will gain weight
But, I do understand. I LOVE food. It's so yummy. I do ok during the day, but the late night cravings always creep in. |

Hello Kittie,
Welcome!!! I'm 24, 5'6 and 210lbs. I'm 20 pounds heavier than you, but I need some motivation to break this 210 bar. Hopefully, you find everything you need to get to the goals you are trying to attain. |

| I don't wear underwear either - Only when I am wearing a short dress. I think what was the driving point to why my husband married me. lol | |||

| My husband said when i get down to 175, he'll buy me some diamond earrings. When I get to my goal weight, 152lbs, we'll go on an European cruise!!! Yay!! What sucks is that the weight loss is goin very slow, but if I can keep it off, that'll be another reward. | |||

| I get heat stroke really easily, so I understand not being able to run in the heat. I have winter/spring exercise and summer/fall exercise. You might want to find a summer activity that is enjoyable to do until it cools down. Swimming is always fun, or indoor tennis, or whatever. | |||

| My best friend never mentioned my weight loss when i lost 50 pounds. And it was because she wanted me to keep up my heathy lifestyle. She told me that she always thought I was beautiful. no matter the size I was. She just knew it was unhealthy to eat the way I ate. When I finally told her what size jeans I was wearing, she said she was really proud of me. And she hoped that I keep up my lifestyle. My point is: Your friend may not be so shallow to think of weight loss as a beauty factor. I'm sure she's proud of the efforts you are making to be healthy. | |||

| Weight Loss | what has been your highest weight? | Jun 14 2007 22:14 (UTC) |

| My highest was 230. I got down to 180 by using atkins and then shot up again to 217. This time, I'm trying to do it with a proper diet and exercise. It's much slower, but I hope to be able to finally get down to 150 and stay there. | |||

| I'm not sure if this will work for you, but... I talked to a few people that seem to be fitness freaks and asked them how do they do it. They basically said that you have to make it a priority. Make it as much as a priority as brushing your teeth and taking a shower and combing you hair. You wouldn't go a day without doing these things (I hope). Some days you may not be able to do more than 10 minutes, but 10 minutes will do more good than nothing. | |||
