Funtion- Keep up the good work! You're doing superb!

Divya- don't give up hope, you'll get there. Maybe play with your caloric intake?

Melissa- That's not a problem, that's what I did. I'll be weighing in this monday, with measurements =] I skipped last monday.

Hanmirror- You can get a measuring tape in your local walmart or fabric store. The soft kind are considered a sewing tool =] And muscle is just as good as losing fat! Congrats on the compliments!

Hey guys!! I vote we play a fun game of 'Whats your inspiration?'

Good job everyone! Borrowing a comp right now-- I wont be weighing in this week because a) it won't be good and I'm at a point where I can't be discouraged--- simply because life is very hectic and b) my scale is still packed xD

(Moving back home for the summer is bleh)

It's a little disheartening to know the needle won't be moving yet again, but I'll deal I guess. Plus, not being at school means telling my mom to buy me celery and yogurt, which I could practically live off of.

And FiberOne cereal xD

I've been working on convincing my self that most sweets make my tummy ache- which is sort of true. Trying to get into the habit of fruits-- which may work, I'm much more of a summer/tropical fruit person. I also haven't been able to hit the gym AT ALL this week, so I'm worried, but as soon as I'm home from university for real on sunday, I'm getting a gym membership at the local gym and probably hiding in it until I get my job xD

I guess so! I mean, I was just going with what the intake calculator suggested, but it's not working as well as being a pig-face lmao

Funtion, that is truly inspiring. Sweets are my freaking kill spot. Fruit just doesn't do it for me. I honestly get rather aggressive when I don't have nasty synthesized sugars in me--- At least I don't eat packaged junk food/sweets? Only home made ones, because they don't taste like chemical to me.

Also, I've very much so realized that my 1400 intake was too low. I don't really understand how or why, but it seems as though when I eat more, I lose more. Perhaps my body just believes it is starving really quickly? Could this be an effect of the fact that I used to have a decently bad ED?

And congrats divya! 2 pounds is a lot!

Congrats Kristen and Pompom!

I'm pretty excited, I may have time for the gym again finally! And I also realized I may need to reconsider my intake- I think I'm not getting enough perhaps, or at least not at the right times.

Yeah Elle, I ate like a freaking HORSE last week because of TTOM, and My weigh in today:

SW: 150

Last Week: 151.8

CW:150.0 (which IS lighter than I had been the past two weeks, I just don't believe I was posting weight fractions?)

And measurements:

SBWH: 39"-29.5"-38

CBWH: 39"-29.5"-38.5"

I'm assuming the increase is muscle?

I absolutely agree with pompom! We can all make it.

It just is VERY hard for the body to adjust to proper treatment. We are animals afterall, and by nature our bodies are not so keen to trust the idea of a constant and healthy nutrition.

Sorry I haven't posted in so long! For some reason CC wasn't sending me email alerts.

It's been a brutal week. The week before finals= stress + TTOM (makes me eat like a whale). No time to hit the gym--- hell, I was going to my boyfriend's at 11:30 most nights to sleep because I hadn't even had time to clean the stuff I'd dumped on my bed off. I've also had a migraine earlier this week, and a 2 day long headache that is still clinging to me. I sort of expect a gain next week.

and Han, dancing is exercise!

And Princess- don't worry, just keep your goal in mind and keep going for it. Don't worry too much about how long it takes, just make it happen and do it in a healthy way.

Actually! That's a very good call that I completely forgot about- sometimes I bloat as much as 5 pounds, and my period is literally due today or tomorrow.

So... I feel like either my scale is being a **** or I have water weight from eating a lot of salty foods this weekend because apparently I've went from

SW: 150

to

CW: 151.8

I mean, I couldn't watch my intake AT ALL this weekend, because all we ate was restaurant food (we were at a hotel)- but I did my best to make healthy decisions and eat only until I felt comfortable, not even full. Except for one meal, I ate until I was very full for one meal.

I also did a buttload of walking, in a very warm costume, so while I didn't have a gym to go to..

Overall I'm slightly disappointed and intend to weigh myself a few extra mornings this week.

Jackie- I hear you on the amount of schoolwork. I'm swamped! And going to Boston this weekend so I won't be able to get like ANY done. And I'll lack a good deal of exercise time, but there will be a pool =] I love swimming and that is good exercise!

We'll also be too busy to eat and eating lightly. =]

I ate some vegetables and a bit of pilaf for dinner- didn't go over, thanks guys. Unfortunately, I'll again lack gym time, but I'm aiming for a bit lower than goal today. I wish I had more time-- it would make this all easier, but getting through school with good grades is extremely important to me. Ah, the tragedy of too many goals.

As for easter, just keep your faith! I celebrated passover early, and got through that day without going over goal. And don't deprive yourself! Nibble chocolate, and just be careful. Don't focus on it, because thinking about it too much might make it worse.

Congrats Ellie! Hope your teeth feel better soon =]

As for me, I'm kinda angry at myself. I went over yesterday, but still had a total deficit of ~500. Today I binged on Reese's pieces and mini M&Ms-- I'm up to 200 less than goal with... plenty of daytime left.. possibly less.

Moo =[

And sadly I have no gym time today though I may ask my BF if later tonight he'll walk with me- he's really understanding of how it makes me feel like I've at least accomplished something.

I feel like no matter how hard I try, I defeat myself.

Divya- usually it's very much the opposite for me. I am a morning person, but if I woke up any earlier than I have to for my 8am classes, I'd be barely sleeping, especially considering (and I know it's unhealthy for weightloss but when you're a science double major it mostly can not be helped) I already average only about 5 hours-- this is partially because at 1:30 pm I feel like a ROCK. The clock hits 10pm, I start to wake up. 1:30 am I have more energy than I've had the ENTIRE day. =/ I'm apparently half owl. Usually I get to the gym earlier than 10:30 at night though. Usually it's much closer to 7ish. Though, I still drag myself even at 10:30 =]

Princess- Now I really feel like a weirdo. After I recover from feeling sick after working out, I'm rather awake. sore and physically exhausted but very mentally awake. Don't worry about the ice cream if it didn't push you over! Depriving yourself completely will just result in binging! At least in my experience.

I hate the gym midday, too many people there.

Sounds healthy-- and it's not like people are cows, they don't get ketosis or anything like that from breastfeeding and not eating a large supply. (I'm pre-vet, so most of my nutrition knowledge only really applies to farm animals, aside from what I've learned from dieting.)

I want to go to the gym now... because I need to. I ate like... 200 over goal and didn't get to the gym yesterday. But I'm so sore and lazy from work and it's already 10:30.

Start by FORCING yourself to do all the things you don't want to. Don't just give in to it.
