kaley--yay for piloxing. I hope you have fun! I am CRAVING indian food like freaking crazy..no joke. It's like one taste and I dream about it until I have it again. palak paneer is BOMB and so are my cheesecakes! I never make them the same though--I always switch up the crust, filling, toppings, etc.

Hi Jillene--I advise you to pick up new rules of lifting for women and increasing your calories. Since you have a thyroid issue I'm not sure by how much but you'll definitely need to increase in order to build muscle.

Sara--it's delicious! I love aloo gobi (cauliflower and potatoes), saag paneer or palak paneer (indian cheese and curried spinach together like a dip almost) and the rice. It's amazing! Oh and daal and chana masala are also amazing (curried lentils / chickpea dish). None of it spicy as in HOT but all is very flavorful.

Stevie--great plan today. Ill likely do something similar. Eating at a 500 deficit until weigh in and then back to normal. I won't go higher than a 500 deficit because its just not worth it to me. My weight was up several pounds but I know that's temporary. I are yummy food the past 3 days and that means more sodium than I'd usually have. A week "on target" is just about 3/4 of a pound and that's fine by me.

sara...that's awesome.  you have done well given the limitations on your food choices. do well today and just forget about the past! :) Still 1750? 

kaley--oooh. I made Fredie a cheesecake--4000 calories and he finished it in 4 days aside from 1 small piece that he took with him today. craziness. He brought me candy but i sent it back with him. lol.

i had indian food yesterday and it was delicious. I ate slightly too much--ending at ~2150 a day on sat/sun but that was about maintenance because of all the walking and working out on both days. So I'm okay with it.

Okay...so here's the run down..Thurs I had a 531 deficit, Friday I had a 58 cal surplus, Sat I had a 38 deficit. So if I eat at maintenance today then all in all I'm at a 511 deficit for 4 days when I SHOULD be at 1400 so I have 889 calories to make up + 350 calories for Monday...so tomorrow I'll have an 800 deficit (leaving 439 for Tuesday) and then Tuesday I'll have 439 + 350 = 789 deficit and I will be ALL CAUGHT UP! YAY! Mondays and Tuesdays are my busiest days so it actually won't be TOO hard. Come Wednesday I'm back at my usual 350 deficit and Thursday is weigh in. So...I would say that I am motivated and will undoubtedly get my deficit on both Monday and Tuesday to arrive at my 1 pound loss this week! If it doesn't show on the scale it doesn't show but I'm confident that I will achieve it just as I did this past week (prior to Fredie's arrival). 

How did you guys do yesterday? Any plans today?

starting clean today (Monday) and will have a normal deficit with the past 4 days behind me. I'm cool with that. How are you ladies?

Kaley--it was good. Ate a bit too much. That's okay though. Where was the cheesecake from?

So yesterday was a maintenance day. I'm now over by ~50 calories between Friday and Saturday. So a 50 deficit is in order today.

Well yesterday we went too all you can eat sushi--I was over maintenance by ~100 so not too bad but I wanted a 250 deficit every day. Monday will be my "catch up" day and ill have a 1000 deficit to try to get back on track. Today I'm going to aim for 1500-1600 which is 250-350. If I manage to do that tomorrow as well then on Monday I will only need (450 (fri)+200 (sat/sun)+ 350 =1000) 1000 to be perfectly on track but if I can adhere to 1500 calories today then ill need a 900 deficit and tomorrow if I can stay on track ill only need 800 on Monday so I am motivated to stay on track today!!!

Aside from that, I think I'm making good progress for the most part. My weight has been as low as 110.4 in the past week (post workout) and my goal weight is 103-105...so I'm within 10 pounds and if I just stick to it I know ill get there by June 1st at the latest.

We had ab early lunch so skipping breakfast for all you can eat sushi totally makes sense. Lol

Went over SLIGHTLY yesterday--100 calories. I'm going to do my best to avoid repeating that today. At the gym right now. I think ill have to eat ~1600ish so ill just do my best.

Kaley--yeah, I won't be too upset if I go over but it's just getting out of control that I'd like to prevent.

All you can eat sushi today for lunch--so I think I'm going to just skip breakfast since I'm not usually too hungry anyway--I might have a shake if I'm actually hungry. I feel great! I did well yesterday--ate ~1725 calories but had a good workout so that was a deficit. Yay! Now let's hope I can do the same today.

We are going grocery shopping...yay!

Jodi--I hardly think that's "off the wagon" as its 2 cookies, not 10. That's a serving. No biggie.

Stevie--id think 1650 would be difficult with exercise but I hope you are able to do it and feel better about yourself. Why were your choices bad?

Morning ladies! I did great yesterday! I stuck to the plan and ate~1500 calories, giving me a 1000ish deficit. I'm going back to normal now. My weight gut a low yesterday--111.4 after the gym. So it's likely 113.4 but that's great! Ill take it. Not going to record it though because it could be a fluke.

Kaley--What a great attitude! You'll make it today..any plan for your workout?

Well, yesterday ended well. I ate ~1500 calories but now in going back to my normal amount. I was trying to be extra careful since Sundays binge fest and I think I've fully rebounded! Fredie is coming today so the challenge is to remain focused and not go over my calories ...period. I should be okay because I have healthy food already made but you never know.

Sara..wasn't your goal to get to 120 by valentine's day? That's awesome. You did fantastic while away and like you said..back on track plus you didn't binge so that's a success! I struggle with that when I'm AWAY from my routine and just normal living. I missed you here! :( How's your cold? So you lost 2.2 since New Years while eating 1700 or was it 1800? What's your target again?

Stevie...traveling always causes falsely high weigh ins for me. When i went back for Christmas I was 108--the very next day I weighed myself to get a baseline on Fredie's scale and I was 111.something. So, I'd give it a few days..I'd expect most of that to come off by the next weigh in...plus a bit more. How was your trip aside from the pains of traveling/airports/airport food?

Jodi--that's great that you're on the fast track. Wow, cheesecake = pain? I'm sorry :( I'm not eating it..I made a healthier version for myself...Fredie would spit it out if he ate it, not kidding.

Jodi--I feel awkward too. Most "newbies" don't end up sticking around anyway (no offense intended). YAY for a great day. Are you wanting to adopt a boy or girl? Baby? Toddler? 

Welp, today is long run, cheesecake AND chocolate covered strawberry making kind of a day ---and it's going to be WONDERFUL!! I am so ecstatic to see Fredie tomorrow. Only 27 hours. YES! I am stoked :)

I did really well yesterday--517 calorie deficit. Gym was closed so I made due with workout videos! Yay! Today will be even better because I have access to the gym! Yes! I should be back at 0 after today--like Sunday never happened. My loss will only be .7 pounds if I have perfect days. But that's awesome considering how I started the week. Ill still be on track with my 75% success. I can't wait to hit 110 and be in the home stretch with 5-7 to go. For now it's just slow and steady.
