Almost two lbs this week. Thought it would be more considering the water weight I thought I had packed on last week....oh well, any loss is better than none!

Soraya, you are doing excellent, keep up the good work! I had a trainer once who told me when I was getting frustrated with not loosing or even gaining when I was doing everything right that you gain lean muscle when you workout which in turn allows you to burn more calories all together. Maybe you are just gaining some muscle right now and this will be your week!!
Good luck, keep working out, you are doing great!

Lets make it a goal for this week that we at least have 30 minutes of activity each day. I will walk on both of my 15 minute breaks this week each day and will do extra at night. Ive got to work harder on my abs. My personal goal this week is to make sure I get in some type of core excercise every day to get back in the habit!!

Hey Sorayazada,

Seems like you are a little frustrated at your daily weight.....When I started working out and trying to loose weight at the beginning of the year I would weigh myself every day and noticed a fluctuation as well almost daily....so I quit..I started only weighing myself only one time a week at the same time for instance Monday morning right when I got up. It was a lot more satisfying to see the result in a week rather than seeing the change every day whether it was higher or lower. Maybe you could try that too!

Having issues with some bloating as well this week! So, maybe by next Monday, we will have some awesome weigh in results...keep up the good work!

My husband, son, daughter and I went to a trail nearby our house last night and walked 5 miles....It was so nice!! Then we went home and had a very healthy dinner. Today its raining its butt off so I plan to do some walking inside my office building at my breaks and lunch. I will probably do some ab excercises and wall squats tonight when I get home.

Everyone did so well!!

Soraya, you have been doing very well with watching your food and working out, and water intake. I'm sure it is just the water weight and you will blow us away next monday when we weigh again!

Babyboo, a healthy weight range for someone who is 5'8" with a medium build is at the lowest 132 lbs and should be between 132 and 158. 5'8" and 132 lbs would be a BMI of 20. That is very thin. Maybe you could reconsider your goal to come up with a more reasonable one that would fit within the range for your height and size! Good luck to you!

I pigged out yesterday (pizza at lunch and chinese for dinner) after we weighed but regretted it last night....I always feel crappy when I give in and do that! I will make up for it today by eating a very healthy well balanced meal at each meal today, drinking lots of water and walking during breaks, parking as far away from my class as I can and taking the long way around......I'll even throw in some core excercises when I get home tonight!! Gotta flatten them abs for the summer!

It's Monday and I just weighed......better results than I thought!

4/15/08: 174 lbs

4/21/08: 170.4

Drinking lots and lots of water, using the south beach living on the go drink mixes with 5 g fiber and 3 g protein also....strawberry banana flavor so its not bad!

Did a lot of outside work this weekend but not much excercising....will do some tonight and hope the weight loss continues to next Monday's weigh in....

Yay!! Hope everyone else's results are awesome too!

I did very well with my water intake yesterday....went for a 30 minute jog and did some core excercises....my calories were a little higher yesterday but all good calories.

I plan to keep up the water intake today. I have class tonight so I will probably not get any cardio in except for walking 15 min twice a day on breaks and walking to class. I will do more ab excercises and leg excercises tonight after class.

Im ready to weigh in next Monday...I am currently 174 and I want to be 172 at least by next Monday!!

Hey, Im interested...my goal is to loose 29 lbs by August 1 but I am interested in any help with motivation....I will set a goal to attempt to loose 15lbs by June 1 to get me halfway to my ultimate goal!!!I started the year with going to the gym 5 days a week, changing my eating, upping my water and fiber intake, it worked to help me loose about 11 lbs. Now, I've slacked for about 3 weeks and need to get back into the game. I just find it hard to motivate myself as I work full time, have two small children (back to back), go to school full time in the evenings and hardly have time to sleep!!

I will have @ 1500 calories today and have walked twice for 15 minutes on breaks. I will also do core excercises tonight at home as well as wall squats and lunges.
