  • Age: 24
  • Height: 1.65m (5'5")
  • Start Weight and Date: 64.1kg (141lbs), Oct 03 2009 (today)
  • Current Weight: 64.1kg (141lbs)
  • Goal Weight and Date you're hoping to reach it: 50-52kg (110-115lbs), May 21 2010 (my 25th birthday)
  • Weight Loss History: I've been "dieting" on and off for about 4 years now, my lightest was at 58kg but I let myself go the entire 2009 and shot up to 65kg at one point. I found a digital weighing/body fat scale at the mall yesterday and was shocked to know that my body fat % was way above the ideal percentage. I know, some of it might be water but it's still way higher than what is good for me. The fat is also too visible at my belly and arms. I'd really like to wear sleeveless dresses/tank tops in public again.
  • Your Weight Loss Plan: Eat 1216 cals daily as recommended by www.phord.com/cc and log calories online daily at a private journal. Today I've eaten 1400 cals but it's ok since I know I shouldn't just get to 1216 immediately as I've been eating 2000+ cals daily for the entire year.
Motivation Do You Hold Your Stomach In? All the time? Sep 07 2009

Wow! I thought I was the only one who held her stomach in ALL THE TIME! I've been holding it in since 17, when I had to wear short skirts as prefect uniforms and felt that my tummy was bulging under the tight skirt, making me look extremely ugly. Then my tummy grew bigger, and I kept sucking in every time I'm out. Doesn't feel good, but my tummy doesn't seem to want to shrink. :/

Hi all! I'm currently 139lbs, wanting to get to 110lbs - 29lbs to lose! I used to weigh around 132lbs, ballooned up recently because I neglected calorie-count for half a year. :( I hope to lose a pound per week and get to my goal weight by the end of February 2010!

I have been ballooning up like crazy ever since I stopped CC-ing about half a year ago. Tried to do the C25K but couldn't get past W1D1. I no longer have the time to do that since my classes are in the evenings now (my runs used to be in the evenings as well). I shall wait till I have enough stamina and health to continue doing that in the mornings. I really need to eat healthy more often but the lack of a fridge is seriously restricting. Anyway 29lbs to lose by 28th Feb 2010! Wow this is the first time I have had a more realistic goal, 7 months as opposed to 3-4 months "instant loss" as I had hoped for in the past. I'm sick of my ever-bulging tummy and can't wait for it to be gone!

Hi idk if I've posted in here before but I'm 24 years old who's failed numerous times in calorie counting but won't stop trying until I get to my goal weight! I'm now 139lbs, used to be 130 but totally ballooned up once I stopped calorie-counting :( Trying to get down to 110 and really make this a lifestyle change, since the previous times that I've calorie-counted, I made myself hungry loads of times. My staple is instant ramen noodles which is seriously bad for health but I don't have the time and energy to go to the market every day for fresh veggies. I don't have a refrigerator and can't afford one so freezing is not an option. I really hope I can lose all that weight by the end of February 2010 (1 pound loss per week including ~3 weeks in case there's a plateau in between). *fingers crossed*

She's a long term participant in one of Taiwan's "variety" TV shows, she's my height (give or take 1-2cm), and the one thing that's most important is she was once my weight. She lost it all as she entered the entertainment industry a few years ago. As far as she revealed, she lost the weight from dancing (she's a really good dancer). I love dancing too and I aspire to be her weight in 2009. What better person to motivate me other than her?

Weight Loss Just to See... Lil survey. Dec 21 2008

1.) Age? 23

2.) Height? ~166cm (5ft.5)

3.) Weight? It fluctuates between 59-60kgs recently

4.) Goal Weight? 50-52kgs would be fine though most Asians my height are ideally ~47-48kgs

5.) What is Your daily/weekly exercise? I'm pretty sedentary, though I try to brisk-walk to shops near my house, and go for jogging/brisk-walking sessions a few times a week at the park near my house

6.) About How many calories do you eat a day? When I'm "dieting", I limit myself to ~1200, otherwise around 1800 per day if I'm eating normally

7.) What is the most you've lost in a single week? I dunno if it's an error of the scales, but 2 kgs

8.) How much have you lost since you started losing? I used to be ~68kgs once, but I don't recall how I went down to 64kgs. Then I started losing weight seriously, so I'd say I lost ~5kgs since then

9.) If you have any VERY useful tips on losing weight... Don't hurry the process, the weight that you lose gradually really stays off, whereas the weight that you lose in a hurry comes back very easily (from my experience; I once ate only 800-1000 calories for a period of time, gained all the weight I lost back right after I stopped restricting like mad)

Calorie Count What do you do when you can't find a certain food in the database?????????? Dec 05 2008

I have ALWAYS not been able to find calories of foods I'm eating (even after googling it and searching at every calorie website available), because they're local foods. I just estimate.
