I have been a member of CC since the summer of 2007. I started my weight loss journey at 236lbs and a height 5’5” when I had my daughter in October of 2006. I had always been overweight, but I gained 60lbs with my pregnancy, and I knew if I wanted any chance of being a normal weight I would have to get working!!!
I placed myself on a 1500 cal diet, and worked out about at the gym around 5 times a week. By April of 2007 I was down to 188 lbs, and I hit a plateau. For weeks I could not loose. I was almost going to give up when I stumbled in to the forums in CC. In particular, I noticed a post referencing a workout DVD called Slimin6. I saw so many people posting wonderful results that I had to try the six week program. Well, it’s a good thing, because at the end of the program I was down to 167 lbs.
I have been up and down in my weight since the fall of 2007. After the holidays, I realized I am SO close to my goal of 140 lbs. I have 22lbs to go, and I CANNOT give up! I have lost 72 lbs, and I owe this myself the achievement of this goal. J
