Rough week. I've been sick with a head cold, not exercised as much as I have wanted and it is about the TOM. Hoping this week is better. SW: 150 lbs Last weigh in : 145lbs CW: 145lbs Change: 0lbs GW: 143-140 lbs

SW: 150 CW: 144.5 GW: 140 Much better week. So close to my goal weight, yet so far. Hoping to be there by the beginning of next month! Just discovered biggest loser yoga... my abs are sore... |

I feel your pain. Did not lose any weight this week. I blame it on the fact that I was pretty relaxed about my diet, still on it, but not really paying attention. I also blame it on water retention. This week I shall persevere! SW: 150 CW: 146 GW: 143-140

Thought I was not going to make my goal this week because it is the TOM, but I did it! SW: 150lbs CW: 146lbs (lost 1lb this week) GW: 140-143lbs Best weight loss advice I received, "change does not happen over night"! Result take time and dedication. |

Lost a few pounds which is great! About the TOM too, so I wonder how much water I am really retaining. I have started to replace the main carb in my dinner, (i.e. rice or pasta) with eggs and more veggies! I have also started steaming my veggies and not sauteing them. I think next week will be the big decider. I have been at 147 before but had a hard time hitting 146! |

Weekly Weight in: (scale is not digital/hard to read) SW: 150 CW: 149-148... GW: 140 Change could be just water but it is a start! I have had trouble losing weight because I am currently living in Tanzania. For my first two months I lived with a family and had to eat what they fed me, i.e. boiled flour and water with veggies.. talk about a fast way to gain weight. Also, if you want a chicken breast you have to kill your own chicken. There is also no "diet" foods except for veggies and fruit. You might think it would be easier with less temptation, but boredom sets in/ cravings and all that is around is white bread, rice and white flour. Forms of exercise are also limited to running and body/ small weight circuits. So, I am glad I have joined this group. Just need people to keep me honest and motivated! One day at a time... Rome wasn't built in a day... |

Any one have tips for snacking after dinner? I am always good about it, then around 9 pm I get really hungry. Need to break this habit. Think it will help with the weight loss! |
