| Bio | I had been working so hard since I started my own company in 2006. I think I really owe it to my body to take care of it. In the past 4 months, I had been sick 3 times. And each time, it took me longer to recover. I was forced to lay in bed throughout my birthday and New Year's Eve due to a bad case of flu. Not my idea of celebration. 6 years ago when I was in school, I worked out 5 days out of 7 days and had 19% body fat. I ate 5 times a day and all healthy food. Since I started working, I stopped going to the gym and stopped watching my eating habits. I gained 15 pounds (14% of my healthy body weight). That is a lot on a 5'2" frame. Not to mention that all my muscle turned into flabs. Shorts I wore in college could only come up to my thighs. I will be heading back to school this August to pursue my MBA, and my goal is to lose at least 10 pounds. I need a healthy body to battle in one of the most competitive MBA programs in the nation. Spending 2 weeks in sick bed is not going to work in my favor. Good luck to me and everyone on caloriecount! |
