Ah crap! I have to restart tomorrow. I mean, i"ve had to restart since like Saturday! ugh!!!!!

How was I so clean & good for like 3 months when I started back in January & now I just can't seem to get my sh*t together!????

I mean, I KNOW I that I choose to put the food in my mouth. It's all on me. But I just cna't seem to make this happen long enough to get back to my lowest & then down from there.

How the heck am I gonna do maintenance when I get there if I can't get these last 18 or so off now???

    Had another great run today!!! Went a bit long for the doggies, but they survivied nonetheless. (just over 1 hr in the heat). Found out the trail did not loop back, so I just went out 15 mins & then turned around & came back.

    Doing great still. Last night my hubby had a pizza & I had two of his crusts. It was a nice treat but I certainly did not crave the whole piece (pepperoni = yucky!). Had a huge cobb salad from Montana's instead of my 6" subway sub so I had the cals to spare for the crusts. Think I"ll do the salad again today. Sucks that it's like $15 though! OH well!

    Hey all! The hotel has a pc for people to use so I'll be able to update a bit while away.

    Had a super run today. I just went out behind the hotel & there was a wide gravel "road" & I followed that down & up & down & up (yay for hills!!!!). We (my 3 dogs & I) ended up at a campground & there was  the start of a new paved trail that went all through the coulees too. It was beautiful.

    We didn't go far, cuz by the time we found the good trail, the dogs were pretty hot. But tomorow, I'm gonna go straight to the campground trail & see where it goes.

    Can't wait! I so envy you all even more now that can do hills. They're fun!

    dhwebb- way to see improvements in your times already! & the watch idea is great. I always hated looking down & seeing I still had so much more time to run! lol!

    srogers- way to get the activity in. Good luck keeping it up.  A lot of people get hooked on exercise, so maybe that will happen to you too :)

    zarelha- hope the heel heals fast! Good idea sticking to the tm for now. have fun with the hills settings. & yes 5.0 I believe is a %
    Hey, that run around the world sounds great!! We ( & by we I mean YOU! lol!) should start a thread called exactly that "run aroudn the world" & we can all input our miles to the next destination or soemthing, & the person who runs teh most, gets to pick the next destination. Sounds like fun & I'd sign up for sure!!

    my heart aches for you & your loss at this time. It will be almost a year ago now that I had to put my sweet lab cross to sleep too. She had lung cancer. I am reminded by your experience that I still miss her to death & my heart is still healing.

    Having another dog is so great for healing. Hope your sadness turns to joy soon :) Take care!!

    I eat at least one frozen dinner a day & did great losing weight since jan 25. But ya, like you said, you gotta watch the sodium. I try to just have one a day & then eat less sodium the rest of my meals & always come under 2500 mg.

    I think maybe if you just stuck with the 13/1400 on the weekends too, your loss may speed up.

    Hey all, just updated the list as of today.

    Definitley will not run till at least Thursday here. We have to leave Wednesday to perform at a summer fair from Wed - Sunday so I won't be back till Monday.

    I do plan on getting a run in & other workouts while at the hotel, thanfully they have a gym.

    You guys are all doing awesome!!! I love reading how you all resist things!!!

    We are going to perform at a fair starting on Wednesday & I am going to put my restart date on Wednesay. It's just too crazy busy to worry about eating right while I get everything done that I need to get done before we go.

    But once we get there I should be able to eat clean even better than at home.

    I'm not sure if the hotel has internet, if it does, I'll check in. but if not I won't be able to check in till Monday. So please forgive my lack of updates/comments till then.

    ya zee, that must be a typo. Try going to the website of the company that makes the bread. Unless it's like cheese bread or something, but even then, that's super high.

    Alright guys & gals! My first official race is under my belt. It was a small small race, I think just around 40 people, funny  hey??? Check out our start line:

    Oh well, that's what you get when you live in a small town. I guess the entrance numbers were more than double last year. My time was 31:39. Not bad I guess. There are more pics of the race (& the rodeo I was in) in my photobucket album if you wanna look:

    Ok, I had a super time yesterday doing my 5K race & the mini rodeo events (see my journal).  Obviously being on a horse all day doesn't allow you to eat much, but I had brought a Vector bar which I snarfed down at 10:30 or so and didnt' eat the rest of the day till I got home after 5!!! I was famished!!! But I wasn't about to eat the nasty-ass burgers at the rodeo grounds or their hot dogs either. They had no healthy choices. So I just ate about the equivalent to 2 meals when I got home.

    Alright, did my prep run today for tomorrow's race. I actually ran at like 8:30 in the morning! That's super crazy for me! lol! It was good, but not the greatest time, 35:31. I don't really care, as long as I'm not dead last.

    Should be good tomorrow. I'm excited. We also have our local "Settler Days" this weekend. We're having a mini rodeo with events like barrel racing & cattle sorting. I'm going to be competing in the barrel racing & pole bending. Tonight we also have cattle penning & I'll be doing that too. Should be a fun couple of days!!!

    I'll have pics in my gallery after it's all done.

    All the posts of rain sound great right about now. We've been in a heat wave for so long all the grass is getting brown, we need the rain. But as long as it waits till Sunday at least :)

    zarelha- great to hear from you!! Can't wait to have you back in full swing! I wasn't really worried about running the day b4 the race. I mean, it's only 5K so I"m not really over-exerting myself or anything, esp at a time of 35:31 (that's like 5.3 mph or something) pretty slow! Thanks!
