i'm in Ontario, and in both the elementary and high schools nut products are prohibited. my child doesn't have an allergy, but i'm completely on board with not jeopardizing others who do. as an aside: i had a friend all through childhood who was anaphylactic to nuts, and she also had severe asthma. i was always responsible for her epi pen and inhaler because i was a year older (and because she'd lost her inhaler many times). she knew how and when to use the inhaler, but i'm sure the grey hair i have now stems from the constant worry that i might have to produce and use that epi pen! i was always afraid she'd die on me and i'd have to explain to her parents that i wasn't quick/smart enough to have saved her :/

i would phone the vet and inquire whether this type of behaviour could indicate something like a bladder infection. physical problems should be ruled out before dealing with a possible behaviour issue. |

net calories is the difference between what you burned and what you ate. a negative number means you ate less than you burned. to lose .5-1 lb a week, you would aim for your net calories to be -500 per day |

I would let it go. Like Lys said, you don't own the name...plus, it's possible you may never have a girl, and then you've laid claim to a name that you won't ever use. Also, your friend might be hurt or upset to know that she picked a name that you're asking her to not use just in case you want it sometime in the future. |
