I would like to get to 105lbs currently 114.5lbs. I know most of you are going to say WHAT. I'm only 4'11" and was always less then 105 unless I was pregnant then I hit 40 and it's been a downward spiral ever since. Diagnosed with breast cancer so took a break from caring about anything but getting through treatment. Treatment is done so I'm trying to get back on track. 114.5 is down from a high of 119 :(

The above recipe sounds great can't wait to try it. I don't like much spice so maybe I'll use ground turkey instead of the sausage. I like the cabbage soup idea but I'll have to find a recipe. Yesterday I made a chili, ground turkey, then in food processor chopped vegatables(mushroom, carrot, broccoli stem, onion) added two cans of petite diced tomatoes with jalapeno , cinnamon, garlic and chili powder all in the crockpot and let cook 6 hours on low. Very good and filling. |

From Long Island haven't been exercising or dieting so I'm very happy at today's 112.5 lb. Got power back but heard it's now gone. Need to figure out how to get back on track was eating chips and salsa last night with my daughter. Then had a quiet glass of wine after everyone else went to bed. If power doesn't stay off I'll go shopping and get some healthy fruits and vegatables. Had some awesome soup I had previously made and frozen. Suppose I'll start the 17 day diet again when things settle down. It's been very easy to follow. It's actual had me try things I didn't have before like grapefruit and okra. Made some nice dishes liked stuffed peppers and stuffed portabella mushrooms. My kids love the turkey chilli and the chicken soup.

Love to join been off cc for a while do to medical issues. But since I've completed my treatment for the most part need to get healthy again. Sw:112 lbs GW:105 lbs SM: 34 - 30 -33 Haven't thought about a goal measurement I suppose an inch is reasonable therefore. GM: 34 - 29-33 Now since I haven't been exercising having a goal measurement should get me moving. Part of getting back in shape is getting some strength built up. This should accomplish that.

Salad, cheaper if you by the ingredients and make it yourself. But can be made very easily if you buy the prewashed mix and just add chicken, tuna, strawberries or whatever you enjoy. I actually had frozen yogurt for lunch with fruit once it felt like a treat and was just a stop at the store. I have leftovers from dinner alot.(grilled vegatables, grilled portabella mushroom with feta and spinach, bean chili, etc) |

Just realized today is the last day of May end of challegne! Not good results but not a good effort SW 113 End weight 113 So looks like it was a wash. Not bad being I did cheat alot had I given a real effort and had these results I'd be upset but with the effort I gave I'm actually happy I didn't gain. Although I'd like to start exercising maybe I can find a challegne for that and actually attempt to reach my goal. Glad everyone didn't have the results I had. Continue down the path to healthy living.

freddie_mac love the advice never thought of it that way. I'm one for yogurt and fruit, oatmeal and fruit, farina and honey. When I have time I splurge with a nice egg white omlette with lots of vegatables(spinach, onions, tomatoes, zucchini, brocolli, etc) Some combination of whatever vegatables I have left from dinners. |

silvylongueras - don't be discouraged maybe you need a change, how long have you been at the weight loss. Are you exercising? Are you really keeping the cals to 1000 because your body maybe in starvation mode. Try 1500 and 1200 if you want to shake things up alternating amount of cals. beccaanic - somtimes you have to forget about the past and decide just to get back on the wagon maybe you need a guilt free week off then start again because emotionally you may be beating yourself up which is causing more eating. curvymama65- Good for you keep up the good work whatever you're doing is working. Congrats. runyourlife - Good attitude just keep at it. ijiwaru_shizuka- Meeting your goal ahead of time tink8 - What types of food are you eating? Do you drink lots of water it's probably hard to get water when you're working. Using the tools on the site what calorie intake do they suggest for you? You are down so that's good just stay focused and I'm sure you'll see a drop.
Shellbysmomma - you're still down for the week good for you keep it up and you'll be good. Remember you had a big loss the week before sometimes those creep back on and you continued the downward trend. As for me I'm holding steady between 111-112lbs, I'd like to be 110 but I've been cheating here and there, bagel for breakfast yesterday and a drink last night. This weekend we're going camping so I'd be very surprised if I don't gain then. |

Sorry in a rush so I'll just say congrats to those who lost and don't give up to those who didn't. Try something new maybe change in exercise or types of foods you eat. As for myself up a lb this week 5/18 112lbs Can't even remember what I was last week I keep wanting to hold at the 111 for more than an day. Then break it eventually. Have a great weekend everyone. |

ijiwaru_shizuka - sometimes we eat too little and our body holds onto whatever it can. Maybe you need to eat a little more although I wouldn't say it should be crackers and soda. I had Red Mango(frozen yogurt) not long before bed last night and still saw a /5 lb loss this morning although I won't be at 111 lbs tomorrow which would be holding steady. Or below 111lbs which would be what I'm looking for. Let you know how tomorrow's weigh in goes in the meanwhile everyone have a great day. |

langey12 - sometimes we need a good swift kick in the butt to get moving. Good luck getting back on track. nmward - way to go keep it up and the goal is yours My worst enemy is drinking and I've been so good until this weekend. Had a glass of wine everynight and a beer on Saturday when we went out for dinner. Then two glasses of wine at the communion on Sunday. Yesterday I continued with a drink after work. So today is the day to stop and start drinking herbal tea and water. CW: 113.5 Friday's weight was 111 Instead of lossing it looks like I'll be lucky to maintain for the month. |

shellbysmomma - way to go patience pays keep up the good work. Sometimes we just need to keep on going even though it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Look how well it turned out for you. Happy Mother's Day. nmward - it seems like everyone has their own day to check in my is Friday. Don't set a goal you think is unattainable. This is setting yourself up for failure, which of course isn't motivating. Have fun fishing to those getting summer homes, cabins etc ready for the season. All you Mom's happy mother's day. |

Here it is May 11: 111lbs Loss none I'm gonna try to be better this week not sure what happened I did cheat on Saturday but that shouldn't have taken all week to recover from. This weekend I will have my glass of wine at the Communion but I think I'll skip the cake. Have been eating dinner late most days this week that doesn't help. Last night it was 8PM before dinner then I'm in bed by 10. Not heatlhy. Stillwatergirl - way to go down is down and makes us do the happy dance. Gavi - you go girl keep up the good work |

Cyranda congrads on the loss. I was surprised to see you weighed in at night. I have always weighed first thing in the morning with no clothes. Doesn't look good for me this week. I'm doing the 17 day diet, started the 2nd cycle on Thursday. Was lossing all along but then cheated on Saturday and it's been all downhill since then. I'm hoping to get back to the 111 from Friday. I'll be cheating again on Sunday with Mother's Day and a communion, it's not looking good. I'm definitely looking forward to a glass of wine. sburck6- as long as it's in the right direction we are happy!

I'll just shorten it SW 113 May 4:111.5 Pounds down: 1.5 Have a communion and dinner with friends this weekend hope I'll be able to hold the loss and maybe even continue the downward motion next week. Everyone have a great weekend.

insany - You lost a pound don't complain be happy, this is good stuff. silvyllongueras - Not a good idea to eat less then 1200 calories a day. Need to have enough energy to take care of that little one, they move quickly at 21 months. langey12 - If eating terribly is an extra 150 calories I want your will power. When I cheat I do it big(candy, ice cream, wine, etc). betsyt - If you're PMSing it's probably water weight and will be gone in a week. Stillwatergirl - Good info didn't know the saying about being thristy means your dehydrated. I'm hoping all the good habits here rub off, lots of exercising going on which I'm not good at just yet. Exercise is one of those things once you're in the habit you keep it up but when you're not in the habit you just don't even think about it. Tomorrow is weigh-in let's see how I do.

That's what I'm missing the excerise portion. It's been hectic so I'm happy just to keep to a diet. I'll see more results if I exercise not the weight loss but the clothes fitting better. Tonight is my last night teaching religion so maybe with one more thing off my plate I'll be able to squeeze something in. Even my 15 minute DVD's I usually see progress. God bless you a triathlon! Enjoy |
