Name:  Greg

  • Start weight: 226.2 lbs  April 1

Goal loss:  8 lbs

  • Week 1 225    lb   April 8
  • Week 2 218    lb   April 15
  • Week 3 218    lb   April 22
  • Week 4 213.2 lb   April 29

Total loss: 13 lbs

Did this in March and it was lots of fun .. and motivational.. so gonna try this again for April..

The basics:   6'2", 37 year old in Raleigh, NC.. started out with weight of 263.5 on Jan 16.. goal weight is 200 lbs by August 31.. and perhaps 190 by October 31.. That puts me at the very high end of "normal weight" according to the BMI charts

I have only been counting calories since I started the program.. I work 3rd shift, but get daily exercise walking the floor and climbing up/down stairs at work ( about 30-45 minutes worth per night )

Just joined a new gym that is opening April 15, so will be attending workouts there with training sessions/classes etc.. so 8 lbs may be alot to expect this month until I figure out new calorie count combined with workout.. but we'll see what happens

Good luck all

I'm in the same boat as you .. I started on Jan 16 with a weight of 263.5 ... I set my first primary goal as 200 lbs even though according to the site I should be around the 175 - 190 range

I not only work full time job, but I work 3rd shift, so that makes things fun considering that some things I eat while I'm awake are on one day, and the rest are on the next ... that whole midnight line

Thanks guys... was actually referring to bumping it down instead of up .. *lol*  rereading it now I see I never specified it

When I started out my goal was at 2050 calories per day.. right now I have it at 1900 per day and still find myself coming in at end of day around 1200-1300.. and no.. I'm not hungry at all at end of day

Thanks again for the replies :)

Most diets will say they want you to drink about 2 liters of water per day

maybe this one just puts a fancy name on it and adds flavor to the water to get you to drink it ?

Week 4 226.9 lbs ( -0.7 lbs )

Total loss: 9.1 lbs

6'2", 37 years old in Raleigh, NC... just started on this site 6 weeks ago ( Jan 16 ).

I don't do regular workouts, however with my job I am walking 30-45 minutes , plus up/down stairs ... 5 nights a week

Have had some good success with just sticking to the calorie counts and hope that it continues, actually been able to move my target date in closer due to the amount of weight lost in the first 6 weeks.

started out originally at 263.5...current goal is 200 lbs by August 31

Good luck everyone!

Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
