| I got it at 15 and had the surgery at 16. I was a very young case. I played waterpolo, was taking typing, was in band (okay...don't laugh that hard), and I know sign language. So... I had multiple causes. I never got the surgery on my right hand, but will need to eventually. The pain I feel is mostly in my hand, but also in my wrist. The thumb, index finger and middle finger go numb and once in a while the other two fingers do also, but that is due to ganglion cysts (which are big bubbles of fluid under my skin on my wrists). Doctors were amazed with how young I was when I got it, so chances are you don't have it. But your hands aren't worth the risk so I would see a doctor asap! Good luck, let me know how it goes. | |||

I eat steal cut oats every morning... it's a natural laxative. From personal experience (and my friends who I make it for) it works... a little too well. ;) Good luck!

VERMILION, Ohio -- A man is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for a
drunk driving charge. He says he never should have been charged in the
first place because he was on a lawn mower. It's his third drunk driving arrest in six months. The first time he was in a van; the next in a car. This time he decided to hop on his 20-horsepower lawn mower. The officer who arrested him captured it all on dash cam video. Just before 10 p.m. Friday, an officer saw 50-year-old Dondi Bowles driving on the sidewalk along Berkly Road in Vermilion. The officer says Bowles smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred. He arrested Bowles after giving him a field sobriety test. Later, Bowles blew a .144 -- almost twice the legal limit. Bowles admits he had a few beers but thought driving his lawn mower 10 m.p.h. on the sidewalk was OK. "I didn't know you could get a DUI on a bike or a lawnmower,â?ť Bowles said. â??That's the difference. If I knew that, I would've walked." Police say he drove the mower to a store about a mile from his home and was arrested on his way back. "If you're operating any vehicle under the influence, you're under OVI, bicycles, lawnmowers, cars trucks, etc,â?ť Vermilion Police Patrolman Scott Holmes said. Holmes says even if you're in your own backyard and your drunk on any type of vehicle, you can be arrested for operating a vehicle impaired. The lawn mower was towed. | Keep up the good work!!!!! Isn't the support here amazing? I have paid money to loose weight (at weight watchers) and can't believe how much more supportive, and successful this site is. Not to mention it's free!!! When ever you get discouraged think about how great it will be when you reach your ultimate goal and your friends can't keep up with you at Yosemite!!!! I keep on thinking about that cute little black bikini I want to get. I'm also 23 and started at 250lbs on January 24, 2007 and today I am at 232.5!!!! I'm not loosing weight as quickly as I had hoped, but I'm not getting discouraged because of the people on these forums that give me hope. | |||
