Elisa Zied, MS, RD, CDN is a leading national nutrition expert, consultant, writer, author, New York State Dietetic Association media excellence award winner, and American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer. Between 2004-2010, she was a national media spokesperson for the esteemed American Dietetic Association.

For almost 15 years, Elisa has helped thousands of people enjoy a healthier quality of life. By making nutrition accessible, practical, and fun, Elisa helps people find pleasure, satisfaction, and balance when eating nutritious food and living a healthy lifestyle.

Elisa earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a master of science in clinical nutrition from New York University. She enjoys a busy and active life in New York City with her husband Brian and two sons, Spencer (11-1/2) and Eli (age 8). Playing tennis, baseball, and going skiing with her boys are some of her favorite activities. She also loves to take long walks, jog, and weight train regularly (and to spice things up, tap dance and ice skate too). Elisa also makes sure to satisfy her sweet tooth with a little bit of chocolate each day.
