I have two 70+ dogs and one of them is a garbage hound and his favorite is the bathroom trash....ick. If we leave him in the house its all over the bathroom. Its the only can in the house without a lid. Also if we take him on a car ride, doesnt matter if its two minutes or two hours we are away from the car, every little piece of something that has a food smell on it.....its in the the tiniest pieces I have even seen. We have a normal tall can with a lid for the diapers and he doesnt seem to even know its there. Plus we empty it if there anything other than pee so it doesnt get too stinky. Even with dogs I wouldnt buy the Genie, but we didnt ever and still dont buy anything until we need it. |

I have a friend from High School who is doing something similar. He is riding his bike around the world but he is seeing everything so its going to take about 3 years. And, he is doing everything by himself, there isnt anyone helping him arrange anything. I think it is so admirable to know someone who can do something like that. |

I have watched CSI: Las Vegas from the begining and always watch the re-runs on Spike. I know, no life. I love all of them but Sarah and am glad she left. I don't think they can truely replace Grissom, as Grissom. They will just have to be their own character and not try to be anything like him. That will stir the pot in the lab. I enjoy CSI: NY too but dont get to watch it very often. Everything about CSI: Miami annoys me. I don't care if it was the last thing on tv, I would rather pick my nose for eternity.

I am planning on it. My dad is paying for my cousin, he and myself to go for two weeks in July....the 12th-25th or something like that. I have no idea if there was something going on that he was planning for but we are supposed to be going. I am looking forward to it. |

| I don't think mine cares one way or another. I don't ask and he doesn't offer, and I am okay with that. If on occasion I ask him how I look in something, he says it looks fine. As I said in another post, he would jump me in sweats if it was up to him. | |||

I had two weddings. I had one with immediate family at some rinky dink chapel in Idaho, and then I had another one a year later (the date we actually wanted to get married). The first wedding a quick and painless thing where we signed the piece of paper and we were married, no rings. I needed health insurance and we had to be married for me to be on his insurance. We really always wanted to get married on Halloween and we had planned for it in 2007, but I couldn't wait that long. So Halloween 2007 we had our wedding, which we call our anniversary, with all our friends and family. Most of them didn't know we were already married and we said our own vows, not something out of a book and exchanged rings. It was awesome and everyone loved it. As for two counties, I would do two weddings and if some can fly to the other ceremony, its a vacation for them. You could also video record both and share them with those who didn't get to go.
Good luck |

I have bikinis and I have worn them, and I would probably wear them again. My issue is big chest and fair skin. It hurts my neck if I don't get a suit with a bigger tie around the neck for support. I am all about flaunting the boobs in a bikini. However, I am very fair skinned and am to the age where I love to be in the sun, but not look like I have. So I just bought a two piece from Wal-Mart. Black tank style with little buckles on the straps and it goes down to my waist and has boob holders in it. The bottom is a pink and black pattern design skirt. I love it because it hides most of my skin from the sun but its still cute and shows what needs to be shown. I also have a one piece i like to wear too. I hang out with all guys so I (for some reason) tend to be self conscience, even though I am married to one of them. They get all googlie eyed at all the hotties at the lake (they aren't much to look at themselves) and I feel like I don't have a chance, even though I am married. My husband would jump me in sweats so he doesn't care. I like to be in a bikini so I am looking forward to the new one thats a little of both. I think if you pick the right color and cut, you can wear a bikini. And amen to those who don't care about what others think. There are a ton of cute one pieces out there too. |

| I am currently surfing the job market and I don't think it matters how they let you know, its always disappointing. If I had to choose my way of disappointment, Id go email, it seems quicker and I check it all the time. It also seems like it would be fast for the business to just have a template they send out, because mail takes forever. I am sitting here waiting for a call or a piece of mail. | |||

I was on pills in high school, and was fine in the sex drive area. Then in college I was on the Depo shot, and was like a humping rabbit. I met my now husband when i was in college and although we lived thousands of miles away, when we saw each other it was all about sex. After i graduated i noticed that my libido was slowly going south. Eventually last year i changed to the Ring and then to the Patch. Still nothing. My doctor told me that the only way to see if it is the BC is to stop taking it. I wasnt ready to stop taking it then. In June we decided to start having kids, so i went off it and for the first couple of months i was back, better than ever. Now, eh. Luckily my husband is understanding and values our relationship more than the sex. Sometimes its a one sided deal so he at least can relieve some pressure. I am now pregnant so maybe that will switch me up, more hormones. I chalk it up to age and being in a relationship where I am comfortable. I think every doctor will tell you that those are the side affects of BC, unfortunately. I was also on BC for 12 years straight, i could see how that would eventually cause a slow down. Anyway, good luck, and maybe try some different tactics to get excited. |

| Weight Loss | Hungry after I eat? | Dec 19 2007 16:56 (UTC) |

I have been having the same problem. Eat a couple bites and feel full and then 10 minutes later its like i haven't eaten in days. I have an excuse for mine though, which i am sure you cant share...i'm pregnant, so I don't know what the deal is. Do you drink a lot before you sit down to eat? Liquid can make you feel full and then when you eat you cant eat that much because your tummy is full. But when that is all broken down in a few hours, your hungry again because you really didn't eat that much. I don't know, thats my theory. You are supposed to eat often rather than bigger meals. Before I found out I was pregnant, even now sill, I eat every hour. It keeps my appetite at bay...usually, and I don't feel tired at the end of th day. |

| Your boyfriend is not your mom. Its not fair to him, to assume he will cheat, or whatever your fear is. Unfortunately most of us love, and get hurt....facts of life. But i feel that makes us stronger and we can learn from that. You can only trust your boy friend until he does something which breaks that trust. You have started on a new journey in your relationship, its only fair to live in your own relationship, not your parents. Good luck, stay positive. | |||

And i also wanted to say that i got the image of you handing you hunsband a pee covered stick and couldn't help but laugh. How'd he take it? Well, he knew I was late so it wasn't a huge surprise. He just took it and said "two lines huh?" Such a comedian. I think the best part of the night was when we told his brother. I left it up to my husband on when he wanted to tell people. Everyone knows we have been trying, including the cat and dogs. So we went to the gym and I met up with the guys afterward and it kind of went like this. Remember, everyone including my brother-in-law knew we were trying and have been for 6 months. Husband: "do you want to know a secret?" Brother: "uh, i dont know, do i?" Husband: "uh, i dont know, do you?" Brother: "what ember's pregnant?" Husband: "yeah" Brother: *pause* "yeah what?" Husband: "ember's pregnant" Brother: "yeah?" Husband: "yeah" Brother: "i didnt even know you were trying." OMG seriously, i don't know where he was, maybe the lack of oxygen in his brain from exercising made him forget. Just the other weekend he told us to hurry up and get pregnant so their dad quits talking about grand babies. Haha |

| Weight Loss | Does working out help you lose weight, or does it just add muscle to your fat? | Dec 10 2007 17:51 (UTC) |

I am the same way, I swore away exercise because I can immediately gain muscle...its called Memory Muscle. So for the last 3 and a half months i haven't exercised and i have continued to drop pounds. My husband and I joined a gym about 2 weeks ago and I haven't lost any weight, but i have maintained. The one thing I try really hard to do is keep my heart rate between 90-120, that is the fat burning stage. If you are above that you are into the cardio stage, which doesn't necessarily burn your fat off. It can use the fuel form your muscles, rather than your fat. right now i swim, because it keeps my heart rate lower than say the treadmill or elliptical machine, but still burns calories. Don't forget you have to eat back what calories you burn, which i think is ridiculous. Another reason i hate exercising. Anyway, i would keep working out but doing something that doesn't explode your heart rate but still burns the calories. You can still walk or do the elliptical, just use the heart rate monitor on it and go slow, keeping it in the fat burning area. Good luck and stay positive. Even if you do gain the weight you are getting healthier and in time it will go the other way and you will start to look great. |

I hate spiders in my house and i often have my husband take care of it for me. Just last night I was washing dishes and one decided to drop down on its webbing, right in front of my face. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Little f&^*er! One time my husband killed a huge spider in our basement and he flushed it, or so i thought. I got up in the middle of the night to pee and there it was floating in the toilet. I had to flush it for fear that it would re-hydrate itself and crawl up and bite me in the bum. Funny thing is, I have a friend who is really OCD about checking her room for spiders before she goes to bed. Sometimes she will get back up after she got it, just to check again. But when i am visiting and there is a spider, i have to kill it. Go figure. I'm just paraoid in my own house. |

| I too went through the same thing. Both of us have been off and on diets an working out. When i started CC i was starting to eat differently and it was hard to have meals together. Eventually he mentioned something so I told him to check it out. I don't know if he is necessarily counting but i have noticed that he isn't eating as much and much less portions. We are getting a gym membership today so I can swim and he can play racquet ball with his brother. He did the elliptical the other night and we lifted last night at home. I think him just noticing me and what i was eating and how we were cooking and buying differently helped him change a little bit. I don't even push, just suggest, and i only suggest by talking about myself, not him. I would say, yeah i did this or that, not you should do this or that. Slow baby steps. Its a great start that he already wants to get healthy. | |||

| One year I wanted to get something so I went to Bath and Body Works and got those pump soaps for everyone. You can sometimes get them when they have their deal going and it ends up being like $5 for each. They last a long time too. I put a ribbon around them and a little homemade card. Wine works too. | |||
| The Lounge | How much do you spend a month on your cat? | Nov 29 2007 18:50 (UTC) |

| I get the largest bag of food I can find, usually indoor formula, and cat litter....it will last me months. If they are indoor, less likely you will have to vet them. And toys, foil works well, or string, or anything really. Cats are so much cheaper than dogs, and they cuddle better. Adoption usually runs $50-$75 and it will come with shots, or whatever to get them started. I think its fab of you to adopt an older cat, good for you. they need love just as much. I would say $20 a month, if that. Even if you bought cat food and litter every month, it would only cost that. Unless you have a picky cat, then you might have to spend more. Mine could care less about anything. | |||
