My name is Michelle, I am 19 and have 30 pounds to lose to meet my goal weight. My dieting program is Weight Watchers and I have been in the program for two weeks. I am hoping to make some CalorieCount friends so I can hold myself accountable and have someone to relate to. Add me or read my journals anyone! - happy dieting :) |

I am currently on the Weight Watchers program and I was shocked when I first found out my total daily point values. It turns out that I had not been eating enough therefore my body was constantly in survival mode, storing all my calories as fat. I found myself force feeding in order to eat all my required points. Since I have had so much more energy and ironically when I look in the mirror each morning I am not bloated as I've expected. I cannot speak for you or anyone else because everyones body functions differently and I am not a licenced professional. But what I can say is that eating more has seemed to help me with my weight loss. I am also doing the "Wendie" program where my total point values vary each day so my body doesn't accustom itself to a specific amount of food intake. If you would like to learn more about the program you can read about it here -> http://www.stormpc.com/ww/wendie_plan.htm Once again I'm not trying to influence your ways of going about getting out of your plataeu this just has been working well for me and if you're interested and it works then great! I also write journals here everyday and if anyone wants to read on my progress (or lack there of lol) with this program then go ahead and knock yourself out. Good luck! :) |

| I've just started WW (under the old program) and I am somewhat skeptical so far. However I am giving it a month test run before I move onto regular calorie counting. This is my first actual diet so I really hope it succeeds (fingers crossed). I plan to write in my journal on this site every day on how the program is going. My journal is public so anyone is free to review my opinions so far. I wish you the best of luck! | |||
