Oh yes, I don't forget the limes! :) I hope it goes well. Ya never know. Going out for drinks is unpredictable. Good times....or arguing.....It's hard to say. Haha. |

Well, hey there ladies. I weighed yesterday morning and saw 173.8. However, I've got the time of the month going on so I hope some of that is due to that. I've been having a better week this week. Went to the gym Mon & Wed and I'm due to go today too. Got a sitter tonight.....so i will be throwing back a few drinks. (though, captain morgan and diet cokes only ring in about 60 cals each) I haven't had a sitter in sooooooooooooooooooooo long! |

Hi. Sorry, I've been M.I.A. Getting in a depressive mood lately. Not wanting to do anything not even really be online. The scale had nothing new to tell me this week. I'm just the same as last week. I just had to cancel my appointment with the gym this morning as my daughter got sick and had to keep her home from school. (really I think it's just one of those cough-til-u-gag things but I thought I better keep her home just in case.) |

I'm a thrift store addict. I always pop in to see if there are any good finds. Today I grabbed 2 shirts for my daughter and it totalled $3.58. You never know what you'll find. I find plenty of good deals in there. If I get any me time (outside of the gym) I usually spend it online. I like to play games at iwin.com I am addicted to the Wordscape and Jewel Quest games. Speaking of mii's.....I think I need to go and edit myself! (I made my self more ture-to-life before......by choosing the kinda pudgy body shape. I think I'll go and thin 'mii' up a bit!) |

Yes, DOTS is a fun store. For me, any old clothes that are sell-able are going on ebay. (not stained and torn, etc) My 16's and 14's have a chance to make me some money to spend on new clothes....though I'm going to hold out until I can buy some 10's at this point! My velours will get me through til then! What I have always wanted is a baby pink velour set. And I see Old Navy is doing baby pink this winter. So, I will be ordering Medium pants this year! (Instead of xl) and large top (instead of xxl). This is going to be one of my Chirstmas presents, if I can wait that long. |

I agree. I had sent everyone emails before. Just a reminder that us mommies were still here and wondering how they were. Maybe we should send out a new round. Or even take them off the update list but have a special list below that says we look forward to their return or something of that nature. I know people get busy and/or get off diets and may not be interested in checking into CC at that time. So, you never know who's completely quit and whos just taking a leave of absence! :) And, you don't want to be rude, because we all understand and of course they are welcome to return. But, the list is long and cluttered... |

Lyn, that is AWESOME! You saw 169 on the scale and that is such a cool thing. I can't wait to see it too! :) |

I'm about to start Christmas shopping. I usually try to start early. But, last year the kids were changing their minds late in the game and it was upsetting me. I want to get them 1 thing they really want, no matter how much I may feel like it's not worth the money. And then usefull things at reasonable prices. I'm a pretty thrifty shopper.....and ebay addict. (You can get almost ANYTHING cheaper on ebay) I ran on the tread for 40 minutes today and lifted weights. Lyn, must be nice to be breaking into the 60's. I just stalled out for so long. Now even Nicci is zooming by! :) Good for you Nicci and Lyn (and everyone else putting a dent in their losses) this just means I need to get more focused myself! I'm looking forward to breaking into the 60's too. I'm not sure how long it will be....I did pretty good last week and only saw 1.2 lb loss. That is soooooooooo not motivating. But, I'm ok. I will keep it up this week. I'll never reach the 60's if I don't keep pushing through. |

Yesterday all I got to was that walk, however, it was a 30 minute walk. I did eat extremely light yesterday anyway. (Maybe a little too light) I am going to make up for that today though |

Starts this Firday, I know! My kids have been eyeballing that commercial!! I dunno if we'll go or not though. Just because it IS 2 movies and I am not too sure my youngest would dare sit through them! (She did not do well in Coraline) If I can get someone to watch my 3 y/o, I may take the two older ones. I've always thought that was a cute series and am looking forward to seeing the preview for Toy Story 3! |

I completely love kickboxing. So empowering. I feel pretty confident about my hook, upper cut, cross. I definately would say I could kick some **** should I need to! (Especially with the lifting I've been doing) My hsuband told me to back off the lifting when he felt my bicep. Haha. I don't think so buddy. I have dish, but I do have some great workouts on DVD. I hope to do one later. But I am planning to walk up to the redbox today and pick up Monsters vs. Aliens for the kids to watch when they get home. Kids....who am I kidding? I bought 4 sets of 3D glasses so I could watch it too! :) I am a total sucker for 3d. I imagine that 3D is soooooooooo much better in the theatres, but it will still be kinda neat at home. :) |

Yesterday I did my Kickboxing session (She cut it a bit short and ended up being 45 min, but it's usually 60: and this includes a killer ab workout at the end) I also walked the tread for 30 (random inclines) and lifted for 15 min. I don't know what I am going to do today. My husband took my car into the shop. I'll have to find something to do here! |

I have a spagetti squash in my fridge now! I've had it only one other time. I like it. Filling in for 'real' pasta, no. That wouldn't fly in my house. But it is a unique item that I do like. Spinach is a must for me too. Mushrooms, red pepper, kraft fat free shredded cheddar (45 cals per oz!), weight control oatmeal, ground flaxseed, pears, apples, watermelon, and, yes, those Joseph's pitas! I found them at the Superwalmart at my moms. I don't have one around here, so last time I was there I cleaned the shelf. My son freaked out that I was buying so many! But, you can freeze them without any problem. We love to use them for little homemade pizzas! |

I personally haven't been through that. I've been a stay at home mom all along so the kids were always ready for school. I am really surprised that his Kindergarten teacher didn't teach him to write his name! Having to backtrack and teach a child things he was never thought, no wonder is a bit behind schedule. But I would think if he's having that much trouble it may be a good idea to let him redo K. There's only so much catching up you can do in a little time. Sounds like youve been giving 150% on it. I know it may not sound like a good thing, but at least if you let him redo K, he may not get stressed over it. Kids get too frustrated when they can't 'get it'. You know? (I had to back down out of accelerated English when I was a teen as it was seriously stressing me out and bringing down my grades!) Some kids are more artsy/athletic than others too. I know things will work out if he has you around to help him! :) Just keep doing what you're doing.....and sign that boy up for T-ball!! :) |
