I've had this flustration as well. I'll have to start reporting items more often. I've seen a lot of frozen microwavable items off by about 20-30 calories. I'm guessing the entries are out-dated. Is there a way to suggest adding items that you have a count for that are not in the database? There are lots of things listed on other sites that are not on this one. |

| I am a believer in Biblical Creation. I base my view on the Bible God's Word, but it is backed up by the evidence. I think that one huge misconception about Creationist is that we are anti-science or that we ignore evidence. In reality both sides have the same evidence, and the eivdence is examined and interpreted based on our presumption that the Genesis account is a true account of creation. Everyone has their own presumptions, some assume that life arose by itself naturally and developed slowly over time. They thus interpret the world around them based on that presumption. For example a secular geologist sees layers of rock sediment and interprets it to having been laid down gradually over millions of years. A Creationist geologist would interpret the rock as having been laid down at a much higher rate during the Biblical flood. Now that is just a simplified example of course. I'd recommend a good resource on Creation at Answers in Genesis | |||
| Fitness | wii fit anyone? | May 28 2008 16:02 (UTC) |

| Some friends of mine have it so when we had a get together at their house we all took turns on the wii fit. I'm happy to say I was the only one of them to score a BMI in the normal range (although at the very top of the normal range lol). I tried the balance exercises and I did better than I thought. Everyone got a good laugh out of watching my balance "dot" go all over the place in some of the balance exercises. I tried some of the strength training and my side is really sore as I don't normal use that muscle much. The running was my favorite although it was a lot lot easier than actually running outside. My legs were a bit sore from running in place as it uses different muscles than real running. | |||

| Like was stated don't worry too much if you don't see a huge difference on the scale right away, weights flucuate. For example I was 175 Sunday night and yesterday morning came in at 168. I went on a tough rafting and camping trip for several days where we were white water rafting all day one day and the rest of the time we were hiking up and down steep hills including carrying a bag that was around 40-50 pounds. The scale didn't move much but I noticed this morning that I may have to go shopping for a new belt. | |||

| If the area you are staying in is nice you can get up early in the morning and take a walk or go for a run. It also looks like 2 of those places are near beaches so I'd try and be active at the beach. I've gone on beach trips before and my solution was to just get up early and enjoy the sunrise on the beach while taking a nice long walk. I got a good 4 mile walk in each morning and it didn't even feel that far. | |||

| I was there a few years ago. I went to the Space Needle, and the Pike Place Market. If you are a Starbucks fan the original Starbucks is right next to it. Also travelling a good ways outside the city is an option go see Mt. Rainier up close, it's gorgeous and I think the flowers are in bloom around July. There probably will be some out in June too. I went up to Paradise Point at Mt. Rainier and I;ve been wanting to climb that mountain ever since! | |||

| I have an ab wheel. It got to where I could easily use the ab wheel and I wanted to increase the difficulty to keep ab muscles growing. I have a 20lbs weight vest that really makes it more of a challenge. If you don't have a weight vest you might try other creative ways to add weight to your upper body. You can also search online for excercises to do with the ab wheel that add to the difficulty. I saw a sight one time a while back that you can probably find pretty easily on google. | |||
| Weight Loss | Ice cream cake and pizza (don't forget the beer!) are good diet foods.... | May 12 2008 15:18 (UTC) |

| Thursday and Friday were off the diet days for me. Thursday, they had lots of free breakfast at work, I usually eat a bowl of Kashi cereal at home, but I sipped that and ate at work. I got a sausage and egg biscuit which I estimated at about 400 or so calories. I was fine for lunch but my friend had his birthday party right after work so we all went to Olive Garden. I ate an entire Tour or Italy there plus two bread sticks and a bowl of soup potato soup. I don't even want to know how many calories all that was, lol. We went to see Iron Man afterward so I did have time to do any exercise at all that day. Friday I had a dinner to go to after work. I had a nice piece of steak and baked potato that night. I did manage to be conservative with the portions though. Oh and Friday was busy too so I didn't have time to get any exercise in at all. Saturday I made it a point to eat less and I got a good run in and Sunday I was still down a pound! | |||

| Wile not a restaurant I worked at Target one summer. I was on the sales floor and always on my feet the whole day. That summer I lost 10 pounds, so you are definetly burning a good bit more if you are keeping busy. | |||

| Fitness | Wii BIKE | May 05 2008 14:57 (UTC) |

| I think it's a great idea. If I were shopping for an exercise bike I'd be interested in it. It would be nice to have the Wii display some scenery going by, or since it's a game system they would no doubt make some kind of a game out of it which would make the time pass by a lot faster when on the bike for a while. It would also have an advantage over a computer program as it would usually be a lot easier to set up a bike in your living room in front of the TV vs. putting one up in your room or study in front of a desktop. | |||

| Yep I wouldn't worry about 1 reading. I weigh myself daily, they say you shouldn't but I do it becase I expect the daily fluctuations. As you lose weight pay attention to the trend and not the exact value of your last weight. | |||
| Weight Loss | Television = Evil? | Apr 30 2008 15:19 (UTC) |

I have a TV... I rarely really watch it though. I also have cable the only reason we do is because wioth the deal we have at our apartment getting cable was only a few dollars more a month than without due to the cable/internet being packaged together. I actually wind up watching more TV shows (or parts of them) on my computer.
I'd say the TV can be used for good or bad, it's not the TV that is the problem it's the viewer. You can withdraw from your friends and spend 8 hours a day in front of it watching cartoons and eating potato chips the whole time. You can also use it an hour a day working up a sweat to P90X videos. |

| I've also used it for years. It's a well known company and I've never had any problems with them. I'd also suggest if Paypal send you an e-mail just type in the paypal address in your browser and log in. I actually haven't seen as many of those fake paypal e-mails as I have in the past. | |||

| Get you snacks before you head out. It can be tough to find a healthy snack when you are stopped at a gas station and the rest of your party is ready to leave. I've seen packs of beef jerky at Wal-Mart that are pretty low in calories but are high in protein. For me Beef Jerky has always been a choice of road trip food. | |||
