Marion- yes, which is good since then I know I won't let myself go too long without getting a session in, which I did tonight! :) Since I'm an hourglass shape I tend to lose my belly first but my thighs take FOREVER! All the zumba seems to help with the belly especially when you get your hips into it. Actually you reminded me that several years ago I got the Bender Ball method dvd and it actually was very intense and seemed to work great. I'm just thinking since it's also a short routine I should add it back in, it felt good on my back too, with all my issues. Amanda- gonna hafta try that one sounds delicious!!! Char- This group is one big reason I never gave up! One other was because I've been here once before and I know what my body tends to do. I'm another one who weighs daily am/pm, and I notice trends and manage fluxes without too much aggravation. I'm a solid 18 right now. I'll usually lose a large amount in a relatively short time. When I lost my first 60 it was between Nov of '10 thru March of '11. Then it tended to stall. Had a bad fall season, but it also showed that I was doing things right since it took several months to put back on 10bs. So I didn't slide backwards too far. We'll see, I have high hopes for this Friday weigh-in. :) Sarah- last week was horrible for me...and ending in TOM on weigh in day(extremely bad timing this round, sodium and sweet bingey week) We'll get through it! I've been faithful on my am routine of jumping on the gazelle, even did it saturday. I didn't get my yesterday strength session in cuz I was having fun with my friend who was off yesterday and her 1year old (my God-Daughter:D ) "Squeaky McFussington" is growing fast! (some of you may remember last spring when I got to watch her during the week...sigh...I miss her) WO- G/E 30/75, Z2 32/180, CLX 0/3

Age: 33 Workout goals(WO): 200min. of 'ZumbaFit2'/week minimum (WO: Z ?/180) 75mins/week on Gazelle or Elliptical(15min each morning first thing) (G/E: ?/75) and at least 3 sessions of ChaLEAN Extreme (CLX ?/3) 01/13/12: 226... WO: Z2 153/200min 01/20/12: 225 WO: Z2 160/200min 01/27/12: 225 WO: Z2 204/200min + G 80/100min 02/04/12: 227 WO: Z2 183/200min + G 75/100min 02/10/12: 226 WO: Z2 100/180min + G 65/90min + CLX 2/3 sessions (ChaLEAN Extreme) 02/17/12: 229 WO: Z2 75/180min, G/E 75/75, CLX 3/3 Overall Challenge Loss: + 3 lbs AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH >< TOM was a bit delayed but the cupcakes from Val Day didn't help. Didn't get all my Zumba in but did get all the rest in plus lots of cleaning and crafting so no couch potato time. My brain must insist that sweets are gross and sickening and I don't want them anymore!!! There, all better, next week will be great! :) Marryth- I know what you mean about the sabotage after getting to a mini goal etc. I seem to get on a roll and then I let things sneak in (case in point- pizza and cupcakes this past week). You're doing great and seem to be using your disadvantage of limited foods to your advantage. You have to know you. My best friend suffered from diverticulitis a few years ago and nearly died, and still has to watch very closely what she eats. Do whatever you have to do to get yourself re-motivated. I'm wondering myself what to do to get things rolling in the right direction again... Happy weekend everybody!!! :) |

Marion- thanks for the concern, I'm doing better with using the band/tubes right now instead of the free weights. I feel it, but in a good way :) I guess it's easier for me to be slow and steady with the constant tension of the bands. Amanda- I think Britt went on to other things, I never saw her videos she posts elsewhere but I think she still does them and is doing well. Dale has been battling illness/pain and needs some prayers, I'm sure she'd love a PM if you haven't already sent one. Don't feel bad TOM royally skrwd me this week too! Charcharbana-Big welcome! :) There have been several in the last few pages that have only posted once. We're always happy to have new faces! A handful of us regulars have been on here from page 1 and have made some genuine friends. It made it easier for me to stick with it after making some great buddies on this thread! I've been on a 6 month plateau after losing my first 60lbs. I'm ready to get it rolling again :) We're at the same point, though you have an incredible height advantage, I'm 5'5.5". HW-279 LW-225 CW-229 :P >< WO- G 75/75, CLX 3/3, Z2 75/180 (didn't get my Zumba on this week :( ) Happy weekend everybody!!!

I'm through week 2 of Burn, YAY! TOM messed up any ideas of a loss this week for me. I feel good, my arms we're so tired after BC2 this week I had a hard time typing, guess that means I did it right :) Tina- thanks for the boost :) my jeans are still about the same tightness but I figure something good is going on and it's just a matter of time before it shows again. Gotta lay off the dern sweets though. Tomorrow should be good, I'm to the 'sick of it' phase of my sweet run, which seems to happen once every few months. Y'all hang in there! :) |

Marion- Don't kick yourself too hard-zingers are tastey little devils!! We got cupcakes from the bakery for Val. Day and they we're so good my ma even liked them and we ended up getting some more today. Other than them I've been pretty good. :) I feel your aggravation, I've been steady on my exercise for the last month and a half but the food has been a struggle, the sweets keep sneaking in! I haven't gotten in my Zumba goal this week, though I have been faithfully getting in 15 min on gazelle as soon as I get up. And I'm keeping up with my CLX strength routines (missed yesterday but made it up today). Actually my arms are so tired it's hard to type! WO- G 60/75 (changed goal total to reflect 5 days/week min), CLX- Burn Circuit 2, Z2 60/180 :P |

Goosejuggler- I started with Turbofire last year (though i did Turbo jam several years ago and loved it then too) towards the end of my first 60lb loss. I also got hooked on CLX after reading everyone's posts on here. I'm currently using Zumba,Gazelle & Elliptical for my cardio right now. I still have a ways to go but Chalene keeps my motivated, along with the supportive people on here.:) Chubbychickie- I'm kindof an obsessive weigher/measurer. I do weigh every day, but for me I think it has helped keep me from backsliding too far in my long plateau/reset streak (only up 10 lb in a several month slump). I measure about once a week, caliper test too(less often). I'm not sure I get the tape in the same place every time, which is aggravating, but I average it (same with caliper)and try to go more by how my clothes fit. Tina- I would also like to say AWESOME on 146!!!...I think it was 8th grade for me last time I saw it, but in my defense,(except for some maturity...haha) I looked pretty much the same, womanhood hit me a bit too early, and hard (esp. in the height and chest areas):/ I'll be happy at 185, I'll be ecstatic at 160 :) Glad your hanging in there painwise!!

Amanda- I'll blog vicariously through you :)...I'm not even on facebook. Sarah-Does your Wii occasionally go dim and the picture shake a bit then fix itself? It doesn't do it often, but I wondered if it was the Wii or the splitter box I have everything going through. I have a friend who swore she would never join facebook either, but she finally did this week because of all the goodies she found on pinterest. WO-G/E 20/90, Z2 25/180, CLX 1/3 (I'm going next door to my parents to jump on the elliptical occasionaly so I added it to my gazelle time, got my Pa doing it, working Ma up to it) :D

I made it through week 1 of Burn :D Still keeping up with my cardio too. I'm seeing the tape measure squeak a bit smaller so it's all good. Tina- no insur. kinda rules out any opinion other than my regular chiro. He has some great suggestions, I'm just always looking for more. I think I'm going to give my inversion table a good run. It's been stuffed in a corner since we've moved, 'bout time I find a place for it. Hope you all have a sweet Valentine's Day! |

Dale- I second Marion's post, We'd both be there with you, we are in a way! One of my friend's who had gall bladder issues FINALLY got in there and had it removed and it was huge! She had been dealing with the pain for so long and ignoring it it grew monsterous. But, she immediately felt incredible afterwards! She couldn't believe how long she had been dealing with not either not feeling well, nauseous or in severe pain. Whatever it turns out to be you will get better, I demand it!!! No real WOs this weekend , just a lot of crafting etc. Didn't do as bad on the cals as I thought though so, though I'm expecting TOM very soon, I hope for a good week anyway. (((HUGS ALL AROUND))) :D |

Dale- I have had SEVERAL friends who had their gall bladders removed and it's primarily caused by cholesterol, which isn't always from eating habits, heredity has a lot to do with it too. I know people with outrageous cholesterol problems who live very healthy lifestyles, it's all genes for them. Most of what they described was an excrutiating pain in the upper abdominals. Try not to jump to the worst case scenario in your mind before you know what's up. (easier said than done) but know that whatever it is, you are more likely now than ever to find answers and solutions. We're such complex creatures. When you get some answers then you can figure out how to deal. I'm not surprised from what you've written since page 1, the stress you have been under for sooooo long is eating at your innards. You're always in my prayers! (((SUPER BIG HUGS!))) Thanks for the compliment, the feeling IS definitely mutual!!! :D Sarah- I guess I had never quit mid session but every other time it would log everything but I guess you have to get to the star rating/cals burned screen before it'l record...ugh won't do that again! I'm the basically the same in weight but i think I actually see a drop in inches again. Adding the lifting back in, I think, is going to help tremendously! TOM is lurking though so that probably messed my end of week up this time. Just gotta keep on truckin' WO- Z2 100/180, G 65/90, CLX 2/3 sessions HAPPY WEEKEND ALL Y'ALL!!!:D

Age: 33 Workout goals(WO): 200min. of 'ZumbaFit2'/week minimum (WO: Z ?/200) Just added 100mins/week on Gazelle (20min each morning first thing) (G: ?/100) 01/13/12: 226... I added my strength training back in this week and modified the time goals on my other stuff. Had a bad week with seeing chiropractor 2x, but alls better. Still good overall with eats but still too many sweets at the moment. Marryth- I found that fiber supplements didn't contribute nearly as much overall as when I added Kellogg's All Bran Bran Buds to my daily routine. 1 serving (1/3c) has about 12-14g of fiber in it so 2 scoops will do your whole day. If you don't like bran cereal (I'm not a cereal eater) I dice an apple and mix some FF caramel dip (for sweet tooth) or some yogurt in a bowl, mmmmm. Or I just add a scoop to a yogurt cup for a nice crunch. I've had days where I've easily gotten 45g of fiber. Just make sure you drink plenty of water :) |

I found out the hard way tonight, if any of you have Zumba 2 (not sure if it's the same on the first one)...I did a custom playlist routine tonight and put the wrong last song in, so I quit the session and went into the single song section and did the one I meant to put in. When I went to check out my stats for the day IT ONLY RECORDED THE 1 LAST SONG STATS...ARGH! Okay so it's really not a big deal, but now it'l show me short the rest of the week...:( Hope you're all well! It's a bit quiet in here *chirp-chirrrrrrrrrp chirp-chirrrrrrrrp* (cricket somewhere in the darkness WO- G 30/90, Z2 65/180 Yesterday- G 15/90, ChaLEAN Extreme (CLX) Burn circuit 2 (40 min) I modified my minutes a bit in the other things to add CLX weight training sessions 3 times/week. |

Yay, I did it! I Burn Circuit 2 yesterday and I can soooo feel it! My plan is M1-W2-F3 in addition to the mostly cardio routine I was already doing. Lostpumpkins-I did use the bands yesterday and plan to keep using them for now. My feeling is if you put the intensity in to every move it doesn't matter what equipment you have available. The bands (like Chalene says on the dvds) are no joke, you can get a mean workout using them. The thicker the tube usually the more pound equivalent it is, but shortening them will give you more resistance also. It seems to be easier for me to move slower through the reps when using them, plus a bit easier on my neck issues. ( sorry I don't know what the color blocks are) I also have used a pair of 25# adjustable weights I found at my local walmart. |

Hi to all the new people! :) Ju- 30miles wow! I do 1 mile most mornings on the gazelle thingy, I feel taller when i get off of it. Sarah- I'm with Juju on the vibe plates, the circulation help should feel awesome but it seems a bit like those vibrating wide belt machines from like 60 years ago that just jiggle you til you go crazy. I'm itchy just thinking about it! Ashley- I was 145 probably in 7th grade, but I was also fully grown by then, I'm the same height I was in 5th and was a DD by 6th too. I did not have the support I should've had because looking back at my pictures I was a child in an adult body and very athletic, but because I was taller and curvier than every one else in my small school I was made to feel ashamed and fat. I've been happily married for 5 years and hope we have our own blessing in the near future, that's one of my big motivations too :) I also don't drink soda and sweets are (not always) currently a big problem for me but I seem to be nipping it in the bud a bit. It's been a crazy long weekend (yes i know it's now tuesday :P) so I apologize if I missed some major stuff. You all are awesome, and this connection with you, distant as it may be, means so very much to me :) My neck has been a bugger again so my workouts have slipped a bit since last friday. I got my gazelle in but not my zumba2 :( I think I will add a bit of strength training back in this week, I think it's what's been lacking. I also remembered that when I lost the first 50 pounds I was eating a ton of fish like every other day. Methinks I must go fishing :) WO- Z2 0/200, G 35/100 (((hugs all around)))

Chubbychickie- I think I will take your advice and start CLX at least 2-3 days a week this week. I'll start with the bands though and move up, I have a pretty intense set of bands. I hafto be careful with my stupid neck, which is why I haven't pushed it, but it's probably why the scale hasn't responded so well though my legs seem to be a bit smaller. I've had to see my chiropractor too much already this year. Anyone know any good exercises to strengthen your neck without turning it into a gross bodybuilder neck? |

Dale- how's it going with the guys beating down your door situation? :) Hope you're feeling better. My necklace is fairly chunky too, and it does get heavier when it's working, so you gotta give it a good 'cleansing' once in a while. Mary- me too :) I think I merengued myself a little wonky tonight. Cool thing is that even though it's a killer workout it's so fun too! I 'just one more songed' myself past 10pm though, gotta watch that :P It's been in the mid/high 60's and beautiful for the last couple days!
