I'm glad I get to see you on fb too but we need to catch up. I was in Cali in July for my birthday but couldn't get ahold of you to see if you wanted to meet up. I was in Newport Beach area for my 40th birthday.

I don't know any of the girls in the group now, I don't think... But, anyway...Hello!

Cc does not make a distinction of HDL and LDL. So far you don't load it with salt, have your eggs.also, if you have it for breakfast and then workout you are actually just doing a great thing to your cholesterol levels as physical activity will switch your intake into "good cholesterol".

The errors in this post are mind boggling.

Uh-huh...My thoughts exactly.

I just reported this as a discrimination violation. A statement like this makes me sick. I would really appreciate if the moderators would remove this.

Because Calorie Count is retarded.. and I say that in the literal sense of the word.

I swear CC gets it's information from sources made in the 70's and 80's.

This is actually a very ancient technique in yoga to loose weight. I cannot tell what makes it different as I dont know the exact reason. But it does.  I am not telling this simply, I have experience with it. Not only me I know many of my friends who are still taking it and had good results. This is what many dietitians and doctors suggest in southern asia. This is like a medicine in Ayurveda.  It helps in detoxifing the body and removes excess water from the body.

But, no one would loose weight just because of taking this lemon and honey with luke warm water. Its really helps in maintaining your weight and helps in not gaining any fluid weight.

We should even do some excercise and should have good food habits too in addition to this. Then we can see the results. There are many scientific reasons behind this. As I am not a dietician, I am not able to tell you why it is good in loosing weight.

It is very helpful for people in diet, as it helps in mobilizing extra fat deposits which whould result in weight loss. Only taking this will not help in weight loss.

Please don't use honey if anyone is having diabetes.

Well, I AM a Registered Dietitian...Please, stop giving out nutrition advise. Thank you.

Foods 2% or Fat Free? Jul 25 2012

2%, fat free, and organic milk is all bad for u. If u wanna eat clean and healthy drink Raw Whole Milk from grass fed cows. Its 8g fat 12g carb 8g pro. Outa the 8g of fat 2g r saturated so the other 6g r essential fats. The milk is a natural probiotic as well

Just because the fats are not saturated does not mean they are automatically "essential".

Weight Loss Got Milk? Jul 24 2012

Hey all, just wanted to see if someone could answer a question for me. I don't like..no...i HATE MILK!! but in order to eat breakfast i have selected to go with Cherrios with whole milk. I know it is said low fat milk is better for you but I only use enough milk to moisten the cereal and drain it off the spoon before i eat it. My question is - should the milk be added to my Food list even though i don't think i even get 2 tablespoons of it??

I'm not trying to sound harsh, but, this makes no sense to me...

If you "HATE" milk than just don't use it. Period. Eat something else for breakfast. Why is this even an issue? There are thousands of other foods you could eat for breakfast. Don't turn a non-issue into an issue.

Just sayin...

I do Body by Vi shakes. You can add whatever you want to them. I use milk, but if you want them to give you more of a full feeling use soy or almond milk. I have added a tsp of pudding powder, peanut butter and bananas, strawberries, whatever you want!

Why do you think soy or almond milk would "give you more of a full feeling" than cow's millk? Just curious...

BMI is usually a load of BS. There's absolutely no way it could take into consideration muscle, bone structure, etc, and I can almost guarantee that every calculator will give you a different number.

Not true. BMI is a standardized equation...There is only 1 way it is calcuated. BMI=weight (kg)/Height (m2)

That being said, it has limited use in the individual as a measure of "fitness" as it IS only a ratio of height to weight and does not consider body composition.

Just Google "bean recipes"... You can generally substitute pinto beans for any other bean in most recipes with good results.

Or...Google "pinto bean recipes" if you want to be more specific.

I eat at least one sweet potato every day. They're not starchy like white potatoes, and you can cook them in the microwave for 8-10 minutes. And they're really filling. You can make them savory with spices or sweet with pecans, butter, and cinnamin.

Sweet potatos contain the same amount of carbohydrate (ie starch) as white potatos. The differences are negligible.
