I make huge soups then portion them up for lunches. vegie and kidney bean usually. onion, leek, celery, carrot, spinach, potato, peas, beans ANYTHING all in the pot. I add a half cup of tomato paste ot chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper. a stock cube or two.

Heaps of herbs or spices for flavour. very filling VERY cheap.

these are seriously my 3 fave shows of all time.

If you want me to, I can hang 'round with you
If I only knew, that's what you're into

You and him, him and you
If that's what you're into
Him hangin' round, around you
You hangin' round, yeah you're there too

And if you want me to, I will take off all my clothes for you
I'll take off all my clothes for you
If that's what you're into

How 'bout him in the nude?
If that's what you're into
In the nude in front of you
Is that what you'd wanna view?

If it's cool with you, I'll let you get naked too
It could be a dream come true, providing that's what you are into

Is that what you're into?
Him and you in the nude?
That's what he's prepared to do
Is that the kind of thing that you think you might be into?

And then maybe later we'll get hot by the refrigerator
In the kitchen next to the pantry
You think that might be what you fancy?

In the buff, bein' rude
Doin' stuff with the food
Gettin' nude with his food
We heard that's what you are into

Then on our next date
well you could bring your roommate
I don't know if Stu is keen to
But maybe we could double team you

How 'bout you and two dudes?
Him, you, and Stu in the nude
Bein' lewd with two dudes with food
Well that's if Stu's into it too

Hows this for spirit crushing.

On a night out a while ago, having fun at a pub with family and friends EXCELLENT night, this guy I walk past to get to the bar looks me up and down, and says in the most awful voice, "they're not (breasts, but he didnt use that word) they're just two bags of fat.

I cried. I wanted to punch him in the face, but I was too shocked. My brother had him thrown out.

Hi!

I 've been on since early Feb, and CC has helped me lose weight IMMENSELY! Being able to see the energy values of the food that you eat, and the cals that you burn has been so good. When you reduce everything to numbers losing weight is simply (very simply, at it's basics) just maffs. I mean maths, whoops, I was never good at english....

heres one of mine. Its amazingly filling, very yummy (if you like vegies) very very cheap, and only 70 cals.....magic food I say. I make it when I've not got alot of cals left but am still hungry.

Creamy Vegetable Soup

(measurements per serve)

80g cauliflower

80g broccoli

handful spinach (any)

1/2 cup low cal milk

beef or veg stock cube

salt

pepper

Steam or boil the cauli/broccoli/spinach until soft. Drain, then puree in a blender/food processor.

Dissolve the stock cube in the milk by heating over low heat and stirring, add to puree. Mix well.

Salt and pepper to taste.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Its not very exciting but it is yummy. I think it tastes like potato soup. If you want to up the cals a bit, add some softened potato pieces.

my advice would be to stay away from the food areas, go outside in the fresh non-pizza smelling air, if possible, until its all gone. If you feel ok with it, take a piece with you, and a big glass of water.

What I do as well is encourage others to eat it! 'have you tried the pizza?' I'd say, 'its delicious! Go get some before its all gone!' and off they'd go, plate in hand, not knowing I'd not even been near it! This I find helps take the option away for me, of whether or not to eat it.

Hi sarahc09 hows it been? Have you been good? I have....sort of. very stressful time at the moment, so have not been having much of a deficit....barely making maintennace actually! We went out to  ajapanese restaurant yesterday, I tried to not eat the rice but had some anyway. plus i had a kebab for lunch, about 500 cals...god it was good though....been drinking less, which always helps to keep the cals down, as my only hangover cure that works is chips and gravy!

There is a very fast way to lose weight, no one on here will condone it because it;s not healthy blah blah blah but it works, and it works almost straightaway -  what you do is, you chop a leg off. Other than that, forget it.

i think they're great! They really hit that salty snack spot previoulsy only quenched with potato chips. They're quite strong flavoured too so you seem to be satified with eating less of them.

I just hate when you get one and it's got that meat stamp in pink ink on it! Eewww

not my doctor thats for sure!

I understand the frustration you must feel at the seeming pointlessness of it all - but have you thought about why these poeple drink/take drugs/ are overweight? Its not a choice they would make if given the oppurtunity to magically change. I can't imagine what happened to a 32 year old to drink to such excess that they end up risking their lives in hospital.

Some people have horrible lives and these things dull the reality of them - for  a while - so maybe you should get off your high horse and have some empathy rather than judgement for these people.

Foods Salmon Recipe? Mar 08 2009

i agree salmon has such natural yummy flavour you really shouldnt do too much to it. Lemon juice, salt and pepper, some herbs like dill, parsley.

If you want something a little different you can dust the fillet in some cajun spice mix, and serve with a cool salad.

Make sure you don;t overcook the fillet too - salmon should be served medium rare for best eating.

yum, im hungry now...

Are you getting enough iron? You may  be dizzy from iron deficiency, I used to get that alot. I took iron supplements for a while, it really helped.

Nausea - I also used to get that after exercise if I hadn't eaten enough before hand, especially carbs. You need them in your system for immediate energy burning.

it was pretty good....

not a good start today! I think I underate yesterday, and stuffed up my sleep pattern too much. I'm up to about 800 cals already and its not even lunchtime...I feel like going out and getting a huge serving of chips....I wont though but can seem to face eating salad or vegies!

I did a stupid thing this morning, I had baked beans and cheese in a tortilla and was so damnn greedy I burnt the roof of my mouth....it really hurts but is probably the only thing stopping me from going on a binge right now!

On top of that we have a rental inspection next week and I'm supposed to be cleaning the house, but I'm on here now, and have been lying in bed reading all morning. The dogs need a walk, theres laundry to be done....but I have no energy whatsoever. I might go down to the video shop and get out some movies....god I'm lazy!

It is sunday though so I suppose is you're going to do nothing, sunday is the day thats allowed right?!

wow good restraint!  I pretty much have to sit on my hands to not steal chips.....i LOVE chips...

well.....i stayed up just about all bloody night last night posting on here so I went to bed late and got up at 4pm......was STARVING when I woke up so I microwaved a weight watchers beef hotpot! I think it was about 300cals. So that was breakfast....then I had lunch at 6pm....we had ravioli in cream/tomato sauce. I put as little sauce in mine as I could, and put in some smoked chicken (100cals)and a cup of spinach as well to bulk it up. About 1.5 cups of ravioli I think. Hang on I 'm just going to look at the kj amount on the packet....

oh dear. that pasta was about 500cals! The sauce about 60cals...And I had a weight watchers choclate ice cream cup afterwards as well....125 cals. So almost 1200. Not bad for 2 hours work!
