Hey everybody! Sorry for the absence, my sister broke our glass scale so I couldn't weigh myself :P Finally got a new one yesterday. Not to happy with what it says but I'm pretty sick right now so maybe I'm retaining water...? Anyway, keep up with the good work everyone!! Glad to hear the 10k went well, amayou! I'd love to do one of those but they can be kinda pricey! ;p And no, I'm not really clear to work out. (I occasionally check by cycling 30 minutes and see I how my knee feels the next day) It feels better but it's not 100% yet :I My dad has been telling me it won't heal because I'm worrying it too much... So yeah, I'm eating healthy now. Nice to meet ya, Amayou82 I wish you the best too in your goals too. I see you founded a P90X group. I started p90X in October (2011) and stopped in November because my left knee was throbbing so much that I had a hard time sleeping. At first it was hard to pinpoint that I was injured because I had that "good burn/hurt" from all the exercise. Buuuut it turns out I'd developed chondromalacia patella! D': Unfortunately, by the time I got an appointment, diagnosed and got a referral for a physical therapist I'd turned 21 (Dec 12) and was no longer on my parents' health insurance. :( What's worse is I tried to build up my upper body since I'm taking it easy on my knees and now I got the same feeling of cartilage damage in my left shoulder. I'm still not sure what I have, but it's really easy to inflame the cartilage which is painful. I can't exercise and I think that's why I gained so much weight over the winter... Sorry for the rant but it's really frustrating!! Have you gotten any injuries whilst getting in shape? Good luck in your 10 K training if you do it! |

Hey everyone! I'm new here and starting late but better late than never, right? ;) Last summer I lost some weight and got down to 140 but over the winter I'm up to 153! Augh! (I've weighed 145-150 most of my life) so I wanna make a real change. Also, my sister (who is 5' 10") went from 215 to 175 last year!
