| Bio | I am 27 years old. Well, I have been overweight since like 5th grade. I don't remember exactly that how I gained that weight because if I look at my pictures before 5th grade, and I see that I had normal weight before that time. Though my parents say that it may be because of jaundice that struck me around that time and I had to drink lots of glucose filled drinks and stuff to boost up my liver. Anyway, long story short, I never reduced that weight again and it gradually kept increasing. Increasing so much that I peaked around 225lbs this year in January. On top of that I love eating out and I love desserts. Now, since mid-April I stumbled upon this site and started to eat under the calorie count target suggested by the calculator here. Since then I have lost about 20lbs and counting. I am very lazy (you can guess that from my 'interests' mentioned in the profile here ;) and has not started any exercise yet. I guess I am waiting for some sort of plateau to hit...?? This is my first time and I am still very doubtful, hesitant and nervous about this all. Is the weight I am losing now is actually fat loss or not? What if it is some sort of phantom weight-loss? Will I be able to maintain it? What if I cannot reach my goal weight (I still have to go at least 25lbs)? Anyway, whatever happens, right now I am enjoying whatever weight I have lost till now. Let us see how it goes. |
