crazy247 -  I do the exact same, I'll pull off the crust of the bread and basically mess around with my food.

When im forced to eat with others i dont do it though, I make myself just eat it so i can atleast look slightly normal sometimes.

First of all avacado has over 20g's of healthy fat! the salad wasnt too bad just pack your own next time. Thats what i generally do

I pretty much eat canteloupe or honeydew everyday or i crave it! :) Ive only eat watermelon once though :(

Possible trigger:

Ive upped my calories to 1400 :) and im doing great the only problem is on top of that ive gone crazy with the fruit 3 whole canteloupes to be exact! will fruit make me gain weight.

Im sorry to be the negetive tone guys but im freaking out and its having a negetive effect on my day even though i enjoyed my food :*(

I hate eating infront of others specially because im vegetarian and always get the following questions:

  • Id hate not to eat meat, so what do you eat?
I personally find it so rude! ive been vegetarian since i was 9 years old and im darn proud of that fact. Its the same whenever i eat at college i try to make healthy choices for my recovery but get snarled at because im not gobbling down either:

  • A sauseage sandwich on a monster breadcake
  • Full breakfast including hash browns (everything fried)
  • Muffins
People are so judgemental they really should concentrate on their own lives.

Ive always loved vegetables specially when I was a kid genuinely because my Mom always bought those kind of things!

- Try low fat yogurts, You can get those in multiple flavours and they taste awesome.

- Try cooking vegetables in a low calorie low fat sause this will add flavour, even cook them in a teaspoon of oil

- Sweet potatoes are really good for you, I love them you could eat one with a tablespoon of salsa and a green salad.

- As for fruit try MELONS they are my absolute favourite to eat and they're so filling

- As for the vegetables aim to try atleast one new one everyday then learn to find a way to like it this could be by adding a seasoning or a sause :) If you can find absolutely no way of liking a vegetable then move on to a new choice :)

- Baked Potato or Sweet potato! With salad, Salsa or dressing

- Salmon, Salad and a wedge of melon canteloupe for afters :)

- I second omelets theres so much you can add to them.

- Salad, Beetroots, lettuce spinach, chopped mushrooms, red onions, spring onions and whatever dressing you like.

- Sweet salad, add things like canned mandarins, grapes, lettuce, and a sweet dressing

- Canned tuna mix with onions and a low call dressing and make a sandwich.

Try to snack on fruit i find they keep me really full, specially Melons as they're full of water :)

I dont think its possible to eat too many fruit and vegetables, and they certainly wont harm you :)

I eat lots of egg whites!  I avoid yolks alot of the time because of general chloresterol although I eat them every so often. I dont see why 6 or 7 whites would be a problem ive already eaten 6 today!

First of all never ever try to avoid food have fun with your friends! never issolate yourself from food I know i did. I ended up with anorexia (in no way am i saying anything to relate to you about that) I just mean choose healthy, even take your own meals or EVEN  eat before you go and sip a drink!

You totally got what i was saying, understood it perfectly! my parents dont talk about food at all with me either, They will just buy me what i eat and occasionly offer me different foods. Which is exactly like what you said your dad did with you, I guess i can be sensetive i just find eating difficult sometimes.

We are so close thats what makes it so terrible and what makes me feel so terrible constantly, I feel like a freak for not being able to eat properly.

I dont blame him the truth is i love him to death, My family is the type of family that has a lot of problems and i dont know if that is to blame for my problem.

Im sorry for voicing my eating disorder, I just dont know what to do anymore..maybe i shouldnt say anything at all but i just dont know who to talk to.

Ive always been brought up to deal with issues myself and to never take help and to always deal with things myself because help is weakness which is partly why i never went into recovery (or never will)

- Puree veggies into pasta sause add whole wheat pasta

- Take a tortilla slap on some pizza sause add low fat cheese and various vegetables ( DIY Pizza)

- Peanut butter on apples or celery

- Normal potatoe / Sweet potatoe sliced into chip shapes and baked in the oven

- Cauliflower cheese, low fat cheese with mashed cauliflower yum.

- Cooked chicked mix with egg and roll in bread crumbs and fry ( Not so healthy but better than processed brands)

- Banana sandwiches

- Soft boiled egg with bread cut into soldiers!

I know when i was a kid if food was fun then i ate it, Maybe involve your kids when your cooking?
