Morning KG!

I am off to tackle everything I procrastinated on all week long. Shouldn't take me more than a couple of  gazillion hours.

Might have to read this *again* first though. Forgot who introduced it to me here but if your reading, thank you thank you thank you. Funniest web site ever.

I'm having a gluten free banana muffin and a big cup 'o decaf!

Deliciousness!

Oh, and mornin' everybody!

ETA: Two muffins would have been better!

akmama, you're killing me.

I'll have combo one and an extra strong builder's tea.

Somehoe I managed to run out of energy in the middle of my NROLFW workout :-/ Stupid push-ups and jackknifes. I just wolfed down a decent size lunch and am still hungry.

*goes to log cals to see whatelse goes*

NROLFW makes me ravenous too. What do you eat before you go? I never know what to eat before hand. Protein? Fruit? Carbs? Once I made a shake with cold coffee, fat free milk and protien and had the best workout ever. Sweat like a maniac though...

TGIF.

I need a vacation from my hell hole of a job.

 what do you do stargazer?

Even though it is a Friday, it feels like a Monday.  I already have a giant strand of stiff sticky hair. No idea why.

*sniffs hair*

Oh. Coffee. Apparently I have drug my hair through the last sticky remnants of my over sweetened coffee.

Brilliant.

Bediting the stiff sticky hair is just too easy. :)

*blushes* oops. I left myself wide open on that one.

I too am hoping that it does eventually firm that bottom half up. I noticed mine has improved a little. Still there, but not as bad.

The thing that does infuriate me, is seeing parents being cruel to their children. They generally stop short of beatings, but jerking a three year old around by her thin little arm while berating the wee thing makes me want to do bodily harm.

They're tiny. Tiny Humans are easy to control.

I have to ask how intense it is when you see people doing this? I grew up getting my butt spanked.....store or not. My son does not get physically disciplined as often as I did (which was not often enough or hard enough to have been considered abuse even by today's standards) but I have been know to whack his mouth, spank his butt or grab his arm to stop him from running off. All of this at home or even in a store. He's 3.

Because he KNOWS I will do this, all it typically takes for me to get my three year old little boy to behave, for however long I need him to, no matter where I am, is either a stern look or a very stern, very quite, "do not act that way" while at his level. He's better behaved then most 10 year olds in public places. That is also not to say he does not have normal three year old meltdowns that make me want to walk away, or just let him scream because they are embarrasing and hard to even want to deal with. That is when there is typically a swift spank on the ass and if were doing something fun we leave.

He gets swatted in the mouth because well he is SUPER smart, (no I am not just biased. I have been told by doctors and pre-schools and all that stupid overly proud mom stuff) so he is also SUPER mouthy. He thinks he knows all already and one of his favorite things to do is stand there and kind of laugh when he is in trouble. He also enjoys telling me not to do things, telling me that he doesn't have to, and reminding me that I said we would do something and now it is time for me to drop everything and do whatever he is wanting to do. But I can guarantee if I keep it up by the time he hits school age he will not only be very well behaved but on his way to becoming a well educated human being.

That being said sometimes I wish I just had a dog.

*cringes*  I feel a rant coming on...

Edit: Decided to make it a PM instead.

Hey,

What do you guy think about savory crab cheese cake stuffed in a crab shell? My last attempt at alligator sausage & blue crab savory cheese cake was well received. Now I want to stuff it in a crab shell and drizzle some crawfish aoli sauce on top. Topping over the sauce with crunchy bacon crumbs. mmmm...

arrrrrgggg are you trying to kill me?

*passes out*

Yeah, I get really liking ketchup on things, I mean, I don't... but I get it.  But if I were to make a meal for somebody and they proceeded to dump ketchup all over it, I'd be a touch offended ;)

I feel this way about salt and pepper too. I am always surprised when someone seasons a meal without even tasting it first.

My ketchup consumption is limited to meatloaf & hamburgers. It's too sweet for me.

Ha, seriously!  I'm a good cook dude!  At least try it first!

Though one of my friends used to tell me right off the bat that nothing I made would be salty enough.  I didn't quite get it till a bunch of us ordered a pizza once and he proceeded to cover his slices it with salt.  The guy must have had no tastebuds left!

Just saw that you are from NY, which makes what your friend did pure sacrilege - no one should ever mess with a new york pie. Why alter perfection?

Hey Everybody, it's time for a Patented Runie 2pm TMI - early today because if I wait I'll forget.

I have two bottles next to the toilet - regular wet wipes for me (work like a damn during ttom) and lysol wipes to clean the toilet of dog drool so I can sit down.

Guess which one I just grabbed?

Surprisingly, it didn't really burn or sting as much as you would expect.  It was uncomfortable, but I wouldn't call it painful.  And I smell like a spring rain shower now!

 Hunger cured! Thanks Runie!

That's it, I have to eat something. How is it that I am not craving eggs, tater tots, gator tail, and now barbeque? I tried to curb the hunger with an apple, but my stomach just laughed at me.

i hate the way it's used. too many people use it to try to diffuse something obnoxious or stupid they've just said.

good point. or worse, when it's used for no apparent reason. Example, SIL's typical fb posts:

Great T-Ball game last night LOL.

Happy Friday! LOL

Happy Family makes Happy Mommy! LOL

arrrggggggg

OH GOD.  I hate how people will just tack it on to any sentence for no apparent reason.

I got an email from a co-worker last week that asked "Wanna go to lunch?  lol".  I wanted to punch her.

 Super Like.
