There's a guy named Fred who lost a lot of weight, a hundred pounds or more, and wrote a book called, "From Chunk to Hunk" or something like that. Anyway, he collected packaged and canned food through his weight loss journey, and when he reached goal he donated it to a food bank or shelter. It was amazing... a literal mountain of his weight. It really puts things in perspective, like you said, how much weight are we actually lugging around on our poor bodies!
