Do you have a past of anorexia? While I was in recovery, I could NOT STOP eating everything! I ate a jar and a half of peanut butter in, get this....one day! I was out of control...but I needed it. It helped me realize I could eat what I wanted, I just needed to find a way to limit myself. Honestly, I just got sick of stuffing my face all the time, so I stopped being so extreme. I still eat a little much sometimes, but not nearly what I used to. Guess what, I never got into an unhealthy weight range. At my lowest weight, I was 82 pounds. Now i'm at a healthy 108-110. I know it sounds like a lot of weight gain, but I look healthy. So what i'm saying is, it will stop. Eventually you and your body will get sick of the binging....but in the mean time, maybe increase your exercise so you can eat those extra calories and not worry about it.
And about that five pound weight gain, I just went on a three day vacation. When I weighed myself at home, I was 112! That's because I was an absolute pig! But as soon as I got back to normal, I dropped back down to 108. Don't worry about it, it's temporary :)

Well, I never had anyone map out a meal plan for me. I always ate cereal, and slowly added juice, then grapes. Every now and then I just started adding new things that I thought would help. To be honest, I haven't really gained from the way i'm eating, so it shows that recovery takes a lot of calories. I'm still trying to gain, I have a long way to go. : )

I'm going through the same thing, only i'm doing pretty good :) I know how hard it is to just eat something and not freak out and think a million times about it. What gets me through the day is this:
Breakfast: 2 cups of Cheerios or Corn Flakes, 1 1/2 cups of 1% milk, 8 big red globe grapes, and a cup of V8 Splash tropical.
Lunch: Boca Burger or lunch meat on Nature's Own 100% whole wheat bread, 8-10 Snyder's unsalted pretzels, and a Fiber one yogurt. (Key lime pie, strawberry, vanilla, peach...all 50 cal.)
Snack: Banana, or some red globe grapes and strawberries
Dinner: Depends...I always have a big amout of veggies with some kind of side like a baked potato, rice, or a 90 cal breadstick. Meals involving chicken and turkey are usually the best...
snack: Snack pack fat free pudding, or a rice krispie treat, or a Chewy Quaker granola bar.
PS: I always have a peanut butter sandwich for lunch on wednesdays, because I love peanut butter, and having it once a week makes me not feel so guilty. Same with ice cream. Every saturday night I have a cup of Edy's light ice cream.
I know this seems like a lot to you, and you think by eating this something terrible will happen. Listen, About 6 months ago I wouldn't dare go over 500 calories. I went from 135 lbs. to my lowest weight of 84 lbs. But now, i've found a way to let myself enjoy eating again. I'm still not 100% better, and I struggle daily, but I keep pushing myself. It helps me to just do things before I get a chance to think about it...(food wise).

Is there a Chik-Fil-A in your mall's food court? They have a chicken chargrilled sandwich that's amazing! Usually mall food courts have subways too. They always have good choices, like soups, or a 6" turkey on wheat. Grab a bag of original Baked Lays chips for a side (even for that Chik-Fil-A sandwich). If you want a sweet treat, most malls also have a Starbucks. Order a light caramel, coffee, or mocha frap, they're life savers! Don't forget, treat yourself! You only live once, make sure if you really want some Cheetos, you eat them! Try some chocolate yogurt for a snack, kids will love the chocolate! Also like I mentioned baked lays, Quaker Chewy Granola bars (awesome!), fat free pudding cups, beef jerky, and for the most part popcorn is ok if it's not covered in salt & butter. Fruit flavored sugar free gum, like Extra works wonders for when you want to eat because you're bored.

1. candy- candy corn..yummy! And those chocolate santa's : )
2. cookie/bar- all the special edition christmas cookies the brands come out with.
3. main dish (turkey, honey ham, tamales, etc)- I love white meat from the turkey!
4. side dish (baked yams, green bean casserole, etc.)- The rolls always get me going, mashed potatoes are always good too.
5. pie/cake- I live for pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving!

I had a scoop of chococlate and a scoop of cake batter ice cream at the fair! XD so good!! Then when I came home, I wanted more ice cream, so i had a serving of butterfinger ice cream too!

I suggested me and my family go out to dinner last night, and I got a fried buffalo chicken sandwhich! I only had a few sips of soda and a few fries though, but hey I did good! I'm making progress!! And it's all thanks to this thread, you guys inspired me. I told my ED to shut up, and I enjoyed a nice, yummy dinner with my family. XD

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 5'4 and about 90 pounds. I'm so scared of gaining, but I know I have to, I have to beat this monster that's taken control of me! It's hard when your body says one thing, and your brain says another... I'm just taking it day by day, family support is what gets me by.
