I was always the thin girl growing up. I could eat a whole pizza in one sitting and not gain an ounce. At 25, my metabolism slowed WAY down. For the first time, I had to pay attention and try to have willpower. So far, I haven't been very good at it. I LOVE food (esp. cheese, pasta and potatoes) and wine. I was never into sweets, but over the holidays, I even started scarfing down chocolate and cookies. My weight, of course, has responded accordingly. I'm currently at 145 (15 pounds of which I've put on since my wedding in August). My husband (30, naturally thin, super-high metabolism) tells me I look great, but I feel tired all the time and my clothes don't fit. My goal is to feel energetic and attractive again, and still be able to eat my favorite foods in moderation.
