I'm 5'4'' and up until Januay 2006 I always ate whatever I wanted and thought nothing of it.  Started gaining some weight after college and reached my highest weight of 132 (maybe a little more).

I kicked up the workouts and started a very strict diet after getting engaged.  January 2006 is when I started and dropped down to 116 by my June 2006 wedding.  I was feeling really great and happy - never expected or thought I would be able to lose that much weight!

Since the wedding I have been trying to keep my life healthier and keep the weight off.  I eat right most of the time though occasionally I splurge - I mean everyone needs a burger and fries every once in a while, right?.  Since my normal diet is salad, grilled/baked fish or chicken and fruits/veggies I guess I'm not doing too bad.

Now I'm right around the 121 range.  Wishing I was back down to 116 - that 5 extra pounds annoys me.  I am not as religious about being healthy as I was pre-wedding but I still eat healthier than most of the people I know and work out at least 3 times a week - cardio & strength.  I get frustrated with myself and remorseful when I give in to temptations but I'm far from perfect and if I can be healthy most of the time that's good enough and helps me justify my occasional splurges.

I really like C-C - reading posts from everyone else makes me feel like I can relate and I like to read what everyone is posting during my lunch hours and some evenings. We all have our ups and downs and it's nice to know I'm not the only one!
